Ive decided I must have a super version of this game as my PS2 version doesnt seem to know the word bug! (So Far!!) Even the commentary always seems to be very accurate with its basic comments.
Then, in the early hours of this morning, battling in a test match the following happened!
England were 57-1 against West Indies, Vaughn's confidence building when an attempted hook shot hit him knocking him to the gound.
To my shock Maxwell turned to Benaud and mentioned how difficult the hook shot was to time, and how Benaud used to be one of the great exponents of the shot! He then asked benaud the best way to play the shot, at which point Benaud informed us all about being insude the line etc etc, and that when once he tried to play the shot with his head outside the line of the ball it ended with him being carted off to hospital with a fractured skull! Anyone know if this really was the case?
Cricket 2004 has taken a lot of stick especially about its commentary - just a shame that we dont get more classic real cricket conversations in the game like the one here!
