Consistency & Gautam Gambhir

since the inaugural T20 world cup,he's just got better and better.....now,he has pretty much, cemented his place in the indian side and is a very consistent performer now....

yup...he's one of the best players India have ever produced..

Need to keep scoring 70's for 5 more ODIs.

Give him a few years and he may well be the next Rahul Dravid, I mean he is our Mr. Dependable right now in all formats.

Yeah, Sehwag just stuffed up, why did he go for the big shot, they were playing fine, it was a one dayer, India could've done better than they did if they played with extra concentration.

Gambhir rocks. He's such an amazing player. He can play in all gears and is a great competitor. India's top-order has never looked so good, dare I say ! :)

Always rated him since he dominated us last year. Hes a player that is a big match player, he was out of form during the Champions Trophy but once he came to playing Australia hes back in full flight. Hes consistent, hard to get out and aggressive. Not much more you can ask for really.

Gautam Ghambir is a wonderfully talented and confidant player. I love it when he advances down to fastest bowlers around :). He is a legend in the making IMHO.

I still remember that Bangladesh match where Gambhir made his debut. Scored just 10 runs there if I remember correctly. Back then, not even in my wildest dreams did I see this same Gambhir of 2003 becoming an indispensable asset of the Indian team one day, and hammering some top class Aussie bowlers like anything on route to a half century in a game with them 6 years later. Strange, isn't it? Haha, how things change!!

Gambhir is consistency in person. He always works through every situation, and consistently scores runs, I love his come-down-the-track-and-smash-at-ye-face style, But more often, you see him get out after building a marvelous innings, where if he could stay for a bit, he could score centuries without any struggle. He's managed to make so many 50's, 60's, 70's to 90's. Time at Domestic Cricket has worked for him, But he's been very good since he first came on to the scene, and makes up a brilliant opening partner with Virender Sehwag. He gets better and better, Maybe we should see a sync for consistency as gambhir.

:D

Gambhir has displayed enormous potential in domestic cricket for a long long time. In fact I was surprised that he initially could not convert it into international cricket because he was a run machine in domestic cricket. But something suddenly sparked and he got his time and made it count. Hope he stays on the ground and becomes one of India's best ever openers in test cricket and ODI cricket.
