Copa Liga América

You are talking about Kane Fenil outbid me on him and than he deleted his bid so i did the same

My bid on 4 players worth 364 K means that i have 36 K left so i can still buy a player like Jahurul Islam :)

Now i am fined so i have 16 K left why you don't find other manager for my team as i don't think i can buy the last player now :)

You can't really expect to get every single player you've bid for. You should have thought about that before going doolally and splashing on every player. Anyway, there are other players you can bid for. If you want to withdraw your bids on the ones you've caused havoc on.

No i am so sure there was no one except for Fenil who wanted Watson so much and Ahmad who wanted Narine & no one has interest in Asad i think well as i said you can find other manager for my team and Fenil deleted the bids first so i did that too

I only delete my bids if I'm overbudget and that too not before notifying the second best buyer about the same and taking his permission like I did delete it on a player as I was overbudget but took permission from Ahmad, the second best buyer back then so that he doesn't get into catch22 situation. By the way, I can bid on Watto and let go Jayawardene for you to get some more budget. What you say, eh?

If the auction ends today this is intersting
Ottawa 3 $89K
George Town 0 $21K
Los Angeles 1 $43K
St George's 2 $210K
Buenos Aires 5 $400K

No thanks Fenil Watto is mine :) problem solved :)

October 17, 2012: In a press conference Ottawa's manager Ahmad Shah announced the names of their five overseas players that they auctioned recently, It includes some really decent players from all around the globe, AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, Dale Steyn, Danny Briggs and last but not the least Stuart Matsikenyeri. Ahmad, said that he's quite happy with their overall combination and is hoping for the best in tournament. He also announced Ashish Bagai as Ottawa's captain for the first season.

Dale Steyn (Bowl)

Dale Steyn... A very overrated guy in ODIs. Kyle Mills has more experience, more wickets, more 4 wicket-hauls, better striker-rate, better economy rate and he can bat a bit as well.

Dale Steyn isn't overrated for no reason. He deserves it. Stats are really not everything. You got to take into consideration overall ability of the guy as well. No way I will rate Mills better than Steyn. And, that is actually a solid overseas signings.

In the latest of developments in the American Cricket Association run Copa Liga Am?rica?, the owners of the Bermuda based team, St George's Typhoons has revealed their international signings for the season. The recruitment panel was headed by Mr. Fenil who was exclusively appointed by the owner Mr. Varun Chand for the international auctions. Fenil, who has a reputation of framing the best teams lived up to the hype created on his recruitment and St. George's Typhoons have managed to grab some world class players that includes world #1 and #2 allrounders Shakib Al Hasan and Shane Watson, and the Zimbabwean test opener Vusi Sibanda who, currently, is in midst of the form of his life and made quite a stir scoring a mammoth 190 is a OD game recently.

Now, lets have a look at the international signings of St George's Typhoons:

Shane Watson - Allrounder, Australia @ $140,000

The costliest pick of the season, world #2 allrounder Shane Watson was grabbed by St George's Typhoons after all the drama and tough fight given by LA Ducks' owner Mr. Umair Nazim. Shane Watson, who was the man of the tournament in the recently concluded ICC T20 world cup was the hottest player in the auction as the owners showed keen interest in grabbing the Australian can rightly so as he is a world class player and can be very effective with both and ball especially with the form he is in.

Shakib Al Hasan - Allrounder, Bangladesh @ $100,000

Shakib Al Hasan, the former Bangladesh captain and world #1 allrounder. St. George's Typhoons sneaked him away from under the noses of other team owners when they were busy bidding on players like Watson, de Villiers and Jayawardene. A man who is capable enough to make his place in a side only on one of his area of expertise has been in his prime for quite some time now. Apart from being a quality spinner, Shakib's quality to switch gears can be very useful for a team as he is capable of stitching a partnership and also to use the long handle to great effect as and when the situation demands.

Umar Akmal - Wicket Keeper Batsman, Pakistan @ $60000

Another player most eyeballs will be on. Umar Akmal has been inconsistent but can be very effective on his day. The thing is, in Fenil's terms, "Umar is a good player. Its just that he takes his time to settle down as most players do before uncovering a flurry of big shots. He has been inconsistent of late because he had been in a situation where he had to go hard at the ball from the word go. We will have him bat higher up the order which will give him time to settle down and in turn produce rich dividends for the team." Former world #10 and current world #13 batsman who is known his aggressive style of play has been picked by the Bermuda based team, St. George's Typhoons as wicket-keeper batsman. It will be interesting to see his performance behind the stumps as much as it would be to watch him play in front of it.

Kyle Mills - Bowler, New Zealand @ $62000

205 wickets at an average of 26 and a strike rate of 33.2 and all that at an economy rate of 4.69. Now, thats a record that most bowlers would be proud of and thats exactly the reason why the team owners were seen bidding big time on this Kiwi bowler before Fenil and his team getting him in the bag. World #9 bowler, Mills is known to be a fine swing bowler who has spearheaded the NZ attack for years now at the highest level. Another quality of this lanky pacer from Auckland is, on his day, he can bat like a true frontline batsman. Though he is an inconsistent batter, it will be foolish for other teams to write him off as a batter and it would be advisable they keep his knock against India in mind when he and fellow pacer Tim Southee stunned the Indians with some lusty hitting and his runs down the order can be very crucial if the things go down to the wire.

vusisibanda.jpg

Vusi Sibanda - Batsman, Zimbabwe @ $30000

3rd of the 5 players that St. George's Typhoons has managed to grab on base price. The Zimbabwean test opener has been in quite a form this season and he was in news very recently for hammering a whopping 157 ball 190 for his home team Mid West Rhinos against the Southern Rocks that included the likes of domestic big boys, Brian Vitori, Tinashe Panyangara and Tawanda Mupariwa to name a few. Touted as the best player in the under $50000 bracket, Sibanda will be itching to grab this opportunity to perform well in the league and cement his place in the national team and looking by the kind of form he is in and the talent and skill he posses, it is to be said that he is more than capable of doing that.
