those of you who have experimented with the cfg editor particularly the sections

CpuTacticsDefend
CpuBattingMatchType

which ratings do you recommend for the most realistic paced Test innings - ie I think the cpu should be scoring at 3.0-3.5 per over, more if you bowl badly etc.

Bowling good line and length at some of teh settings means they just block you all the time, thats good up to a point but 14/1 after 25 overs is pushing reality a bit

Gosh there are so many factors to determine cpu pacing in tests, which include:

-batsman type (defensive, moderate or aggressive)
-batsman special attribute (eg is he a slogger)
-how good your bowling is
-the outfield speeds for all pitch types
-the power and height settings in the stroke files
-the config settings for maxposadjust (or whatever the wording is) ,maxballadjust (?), idealwindow etc

-but for me, most important in the config settings are cpureward and cpurequest. By default the values are 22.0 and 1.0
I personally have them set to 21.0 and 0.9 respectively and for me, the cpu starts off slowly, but then looks to score runs as his innings progresses. I regularly have cpu rr's between 2.5 - 4.0 rpo
