Hi guys
Finally Got Cricket 2004 today
Played it for 4 hours
When i run the game with pitch detail on the game runs slowllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly like a tortoise
help me
if turn it off the game runs smoothly
guys dont u think the misfieldings r too many?????????
I played the first game Pak v Nz(me)eden park
autoplayed pakistans batting they made 272/9
i started nicely with 40/0 in 8 overs but i lost wickets and i was bowled out for 222
i thought it was a realistic game
Have u guys ever got Cpu out
i mean i cant even get through their defence
i got him out 2 times caught behind
Help me in getting Cpu out


Will u let me know the default controls to hit these shots
sweep
reverse sweep
leg glance etc..

What is that Force LOD thing
tell me what it does
Any help will be apreciated

I'm guessing probably your graphics card is a bit old ?

LOD - Level Of Detail

It forces your game to a particular LOD regardless of whether your PC can support it or not

As for the rest someone who has the game might be able to help you

There's your problem. You're lucky the game runs at all.

I have a SiS 630E on board graphics caard having 64mb vram. I have the same problem as mani has. But when I turn the model detail to low it runs very fast. But on medium it turns vert slow

i dont think we really need to do that
just njoy the gameplay on low model detail

Yes I agree but a card havimg 64mb vram runs the game slow with having 128 mbram I donot beleive

batting is brilliant
i love the way the same shot looks different depending on the line/length and the type if bowler

fielding could have been better
more diving a la rhodes...gibbs...vincent would have definitely made the game much better
usually they wont dive even if the ball goes within their reach
and the boundary riders NEVER go for a desperate dive at all
atleast they did it a few times in 2002

bowling is pretty much the same but the speeds medium fast bowlers generate are kind of unrealistic

shaun and glenn bowling at 144 km/h???? i dont think so

The circle does not actually have to be there in a real game of cricket, it is just there for the benefit of the crowd.
