Cricket Coach 2009 Retail Release This Month

No, they actually want to sell this product to make money.

as rahul said if they dont release people here still download the pirated game and put it for sale so people will download and buy pirated copy if they release they could have sold some copies at least better than 0

In my personal opinion, I agree with Mark. Selling anything digital in Asia is completely the wrong way to go about it, it'll be pirated anyway. I'd rather not waste time and money on failing.

As much as I would like to see this being sold in India, I would say that it has to wait. The mentality of most people over here is to get things the "smarter" way(downloading) and they laugh at people buying originals. It's going to take a long time before any publisher eyes India as a potential gaming market. It's really sorry to see that very few have started giving the developers the money that is due.

It's not totally related to Asia, there are many crack makers from other part of the world too. Only one thing can brought copyright sense and that is cheap games. It's better to get some revenue rather then nothing from those countries where pirated CDs are easily available.
One thing I must have to say that some how Cricket coach series is very much safe from piracy. I didn't see any pirated copy of this game anywhere here in Pakistan.

Which is good to hear, but I'd assume that there would be a copy somewhere. Its the safe bet anyway.

The reason developers wont touch Asia (and by that I don't mean specific country, I mean the whole continent is rife with piracy) is mainly due to the fact that as soon as a little advertisement is done, people jump on the game/movie/music and pirate it, because lets face it, its the easiest thing in the world, right? :(

One day, something will be done and the sooner the better.

I feel sorry for the small developers in the world who make games through enjoyment, and look to make an ok'ish living off of, and they have people stealing their games.

^ Yeah actually lack awareness is main problem people don't feel that it is a bad act same as stealing anything else.
it's pleasing that there are many companies setting up in India and Pakistan which have game development as there main aim but I still have no hope that even they will release there box versions here in Pakistan or India or any other such countries.

I think people don't make pirated copies of the game is because it doesn't have a retail store presence and so they don't think that people would buy it if they put a fake version on sale. Just a guess.

Dubai is pretty safe piracy-wise. ;)

But, yeah, it's a common problem in Asia, so I wouldn't advise it. Especially since it's a cricket game. I want to get my hands on a retail version, as I can't buy the online version, but there's nothing much I can do about that at the moment. Played the demo a while back and absolutely loved it. Thought it was tons better than ICC. I want to buy it even more, because it's just one guy who's working on this, and it's just phenomenal what he's come up with.

Not any particular reason that you are searching for pirated copies, is there?... :spy

Wrong Sentence, For Pakistan you have to say "You are searching for original copy."
Here you can not find a single original game copy.

some original dvds i saw in karachi highly priced in mall higher than america price.

That's why it's far better to but online.
