Yep, that's a really good stadium Kartik. The surrounding area and a bigger square would make it even better.

Just a quick question. Even though, at this point I would not be able to make stadiums. Would a 3d program like Blender be suitable to make them well? Or would a more substantial program be needed such as 3ds max?

Can sketchup be used because i saw an awesome MCG made on the google sketchup 3d warehouse.

maybe you can use it if you get permission from the guy?

But if you used it there could prob be a couple of improvements

I believe sketchup can be used, only the format needs to be converted I presume. Indeed Brett_Lee, that is an awesome stadium, would be fantastic if that could be used.

There might be format issues as well, I don't know if you can convert a sketchup model into the right format for TAOC. But if we could and can get the persons permission then it is a brilliant stadium to have in the game

But there are still a couple of things which could be changed, like the lights could be texturised, same with the poles etc.

Brilliant work, JK. But is there a way that you can make it so the sky isn't near the ground? Like if there were trees or buldings in the back ground instead of sky on the ground. :P

ok guys...i imported the stadium and everything was fine except the textures..
they were messed up very badly !

although unfortunately the stadium cant be used in the game because the no of polygons are TOO MUCH !! they are more than thrice the polygon limit for TAOC stadiums ! my MAX was crying to stop....i just couldnt move around...it was like playing CRYSIS / F.E.A.R.
