Thank you Abhishek , i ll take that as a compliment but i am hardly experienced to run the Champions league . Right now , i am preferring to be a manager of one of the teams than running it . However , i would love Dipak to run it

Previously when there have been clashes, the manger (in this case Iridium) gets someone else to manage one of his teams.

Can't Understand That People Says That Your League Will Be Successful And no one join it just three sign up is there any problem in it

Maybe participate in more leagues before you start up your own one? That way you get to know people and they get to know you and are them more inclined to join your league when you start one up.

Or it just may be that not many people are interest in having a Pakistan Premier League.

^ Listen up man , some are already in countless number of leagues (like me) , others do not have the general knowledge of pakistani cricket , no offence meant . And also you are new to the leagues section , so you first have to gain some sorta reputation in order to win the confidence of managers .

I was lying in bed about a month ago, and the idea of "Cricket Risk" came to me.

For those of you who don't know "Risk" is a strategic board game, based around global domination. Pretty much it's a turn based game, in which you deploy armies, and fight battles using dice to determine the outcomes. Personally it's one of my favourite games, but because of the long nature of it I don't often get to play it.

If you're still reading by know, you're probably thinking what does this have to do with cricket?

Pretty much I'll be looking to replace the armies with cricket players, and instead of the battles being decided with dice they'll be decided with a cricket match.

How do we run this on a forum?

Pretty much instead of being turned based, you're all have your turn at the same time by PMing me what you want to do, then I'll sim all the battles in cricsim, and post the results in the thread. And this will carry on until we have a winner.

I'd probably be looking to have a very basic game to start off with, but because of how it works there are a lot of more complicated rules which can be added in if the first game's a success.

I'm still working through the complications of the game, so ATM I'm just wondering if anyone is interested, and if it's worth me continuing to work through the complications?

(BTW incase you're a little confused, everything would be run here on the forum)

You would have to simplify it quite a bit to make it work. Like in Risk you can only attack adjacent territories and ones connect by sea lanes. So would there be no map so to speak meaning we could attack anyone?

There would still be a map, I'd have a picture of it, then below list who controls what territories.

I found this, which shows you all the adjacent territories etc.

It depends on the interest levels.

When/if I open up a thread, I'll ask for people to stick their names down, and also get them to stick down their experience with the game.

It would help if you've previously played the game, but that's by no means what I'll be purely giving the teams out on.
