ATLéTICO DE KOLKATA POST MATCH REVIEW​

Atlético De Kolkata managers do not want to celebrate their victory until they manage to secure their place in the top four, But has fans we are proud that our team secured their 3rd win in the home ground. Lets have a small look into what happened at Salt lake on that day, Winning the toss Rohit decided to bat first has ADK wanted to put some score on the board so that it will raise some pressure on the opponents. Coming into bat I should say the managers new plan of getting David Miller to open with Dhawan failed has both fell early to Bravo, Atlético De Kolkata was 11/2 at which Bayern Munich would have thought at the game was in their hand but the situation totally changed when Yuvi joined bats with Amla. Both brought the team to a strong position with a partnership of 75 from 78 balls, they were steadily steering the ball into runs. At last Bayern Munich got a bit of relief when Rahat took the wicket of Amla, and in few more balls Rohit was also caught leg before the wicket by Bravo but still match did not turn around, Out of form Maxi joined force with Yuvi to put up a huge partnership of 118 from 99 balls.

After the fall of Yuvi and Maxi the team had a good small partnership from Grant Elliot and Karthick. Finally the team managed to score 311 for 9 in 50 overs. For Bayern Munich Bravo was the lone warrior in bowling who managed to pick 6 wickets and it is one of the best spell in this season.

Coming to chase a hard target of 312 in 50 overs Bayern Munich really fought back well. Both the top orders and Middle orders performed well but there was not any huge contribution from anyone other than Viv Richards. Viv was spectacular in the field, he manged to score 90 in just 75 balls which contained 3 sixers and 10 fours. Atlético De Kolkata bowlers were very good in containing the opponent from scoring runs. At last Atlético De Kolkata managed to win their 3rd consecutive win at home by 21 runs.

Yuvi was awarded Man Of The Match for his 97 runs.​
