Mumbai Indians at a bad condition at the mid-season
The two time-semi-finalists Mumbai Indians, are facing some bad days with the composition they are trying. With the captain all set on fire the men in Blue are eyeing for comeback in for the last four rounds. While our correspondent spoke to the skipper, Gilchrist had a live skype conference with the fans on facebook answering top questions posted on the [HASHTAG]#AsktheSuperstar[/HASHTAG] tag. We are unable to share the video due to some internal problems but here is a record of the Q/A happened.
QUESTIONS
Michael Anderson: DO you feel to have a break to your personal life and feel like focusing more on cricket?
Answer
No. My aim is to get all the 15 members get a physical and mental health and a proper training and not a hectic schedule to just tense them more. I feel refreshment is also important but the most important part of a particular work.
Wayne Shylock: As you know your fanbase for the season is much more than combined to previous three seasons, so do you feel pressurized to face these many fans in the press and all?
Answer
Not exactly. We have played international cricket for years and played in front of millions and billions so it isn't an issue at all.
Ram Sinha: Why do you think your team isn't performing having big names like you, Javed Miandad and Allan Donald?
Answer
It isn't a matter of big names, its a matter of playing like a team but we aren't. Some or the other problem comes and thrives us as sometimes our bowling fails and sometime batting and sometimes both. But till now for this season full team hasn't performed as a team yet and we're still waiting for the day.
Shakti Bhide: Who was your idol at the young stage of your life?
Answer
Can't really name some, there were many.
Mubarak Hussain: Do you really feel bringing in a change and giving rest to two-three of your players?
Answer
Yes, I was thinking about it.
