Though I got nothing to do with this league anymore, here is my opinion on this rule.
If you see the Auctions of previous seasons star players were distributed throughout all the rounds. So to make sure all the teams have equal chance of bidding, this rule was brought. If this rule was not there some teams could have exhausted their purse and other teams would have had a cake walk in the last few rounds.

In Raghu's IPL league I changed this rule and made sure that star players were auctioned first. So even if a particular team spends a lot in the beginning they got nothing to lose.

Yeah, it makes a bit more sense now, but if the managers could spend a bit more carefully, then there wouldn't be any problems. As someone already said, maybe the base price should be lowered.

@AB the smasher @Na Maloom Afraad please don't change the rules regarding the bidding & spoil the beauty of this league.
 
Hats off to @PCA he really did a tremendous job in managing that league. Running league with PCA is one of my best experience till now. I'm really disappointed + sad that the league is going in someone's else hand. We collectively put a great effort for making this league successful. I believe that all problems arise due to me. I got stuck in the busy routine. Went abroad to complete my education. Still stuck in the busy routine. This is the 2nd time I come to home but only for a week :(
@RAGHU good job buddy :thumbs you did an excellent job in Season 5. @PCA accept my apologies bro :( I am failed to make this league as successful as we dreamed few months before.

Time is very precious. Each and everyone of us will face a situation where we will have no time to spend on leisure activities. I am through that phase now and you started going through that little earlier.

@PCA I haven't had the pleasure in participating in one of your leagues, but from what I can tell is that you're a bit of a legend here on PC. Best wishes & see you back soon!
 
You surely need to fix the first few post they seem outdated

Would it be possible to ask the new manager to rename the team (i want the SD legacy to die with me and thanks @Sami Kumar for the help :) )
 
Afraid I'm going to have to pull out of this due to the large amount of effort required to go alongside the simple managing of the team which I don't think I'll be able to manage. Thank you very much for some brilliant simming and management though @PCA.
