Cricket on YOU TUBE / Anyone tape cricket off tv?

For real, to get any kind of outswing movement from Left arm round the wicket is genius. That angle is near impossible to get.

I'd vote your Channel as the best one on Youtube if I could Rob.

Love it. Barely seen a fraction of all the vids on it too. I swear one day when I'm bored I'm going to do a whole archive crawl of all your vids...

Bit of a Zaheer Khan wannabe to be honest ;)

still waiting on that bowling :p

I seriously hate batting, and I can't be the only one who watches cricket for bowling.

Nope, I can't stand batting at all generally. Thats why I struggle to watch many sub-continent matches.

As someone who was attracted to this forum by your Youtube videos robelinda, I can say I'm in awe of your collection! You are far better than Channel 9 or even Foxtel for that matter with your seemingly endless hours of highlights and not just replay the same games over and over again - how often do Foxtel play the 1982/83 Australia vs England match at the Gabba! :facepalm

Personally, I'm more inclined to watch the spectacular or odd moments the game provides. There is one request above all I must ask - you might be the answer to many years of wondering if this footage exists!

2nd Match: England v West Indies at Sydney, Nov 28, 1979 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo

The dismissal of Andy Roberts was brought about by with what the book "The Peoples Game" describes as: "one of cricket's greatest catches (an extraordinary jumping, diving, one handed grab at full pace, sprinting backwards)".

I've heard about this catch for ages - Dad still insists that this is the greatest catch he has seen, and perhaps if you have this, others may be inclined to think that way too. Perhaps even better than Paul Collingwood or Steve Waugh or even Adam Dale!

So, yes, it would make my day for sure if you have this catch!

Yep I got it. BUT, i'll have to check if I can legally upload it, thats all I can say. I have quite a lot of very rare stuff that I cant upload, due to various legal reasons and confidentiality agreements in regards to how I obtained the footage. Good for me, bad for everyone else.

I once heard Hansie Cronje say that South Africa found it very hard to handle the two W's in their second spells. The videos on this page are a testament to that fact. Great post Rob. I absolutely loved watching the two W in their heyday.
