Cricket on YOU TUBE / Anyone tape cricket off tv?

I wanna feel the love people.....

Consider yourself loved mate. That 1988/89 Test was the first one I can vaguely remember anything about - so it's notable in my history. I was only 5 and I thought Patrick Patterson was a cool name :p Don't remember anything much about the game...

Finally found the catch i was looking for. I think Rob must have seen it.

While I don't completely understand the workings of youtube, I do know that Rob had some trouble with some jackass who uploaded his videos in a seperate channel without his permission. Although, as I understand it, things might be working out for him :yes

Hey Rob, if you set your videos to private, how would I be able to view some of them? If it's only subscribers, it might be worth it for me to get one of those youtube accounts.

Yeah, some guy called teamcriczo started downloading Rob's videos, putting their own logo on it and re-uploading them on their channel. The explanation the guy gave was that a junior member of staff found them, requested permission from Rob and began uploading them. However, i've chosen not to believe this because i don't see why you would employ people to upload videos to your YouTube channel. :spy

Indeed, i'm not sure of that explanation. The guy who runs the site is on cricketweb, as am I, so we'll see how that pans out. Pretty bloody annoyed still to be honest. He has taken down his videos, but i'm not sure if I can trust him so i'll just chill for awhile, and decide whether I want to put the videos back up. Been a pretty crappy experience so far with my channel, nothing gained at all, just a lot of headaches and idiots to deal with.

Oh man you have no idea how much you are doing for cricket fans everywhere. Your footage is pure gold. It sucks that people are trying to rip off your decades of hard work in accumulating this stuff and passing it off as their own. Crap.

I spend hours upon hours on your channel and there is always more. It is like cricketing heaven! :p Just watching the greatest players, performances, and matches over the course of history is fascinating.

Just want to know that I, along with all of PC - actually all of cricket fans world over - are really grateful to you man! Hope you can get things sorted and continue to share. :)

Well my channel is back! Uploading stacks of IMRAN KHAN right now, and overnight, expect 20 videos by end of tomorrow, all IMRAN.

Thanks so much Rob :thumbs Can't thank you enough for uplodading these gems. First time I've seen any footage of that famous 87 series between Pak and WI. And the quality outstanding!

Saw some of your home videos too - you've got 2 very beautiful children :)

This a beauty. Footage from Pakistan in the 80s. I wonder if footage from the windies tour to PAK 80/81 exists?

Imran makes some good points here when Benaud asked him about his record. Imran i believe is the only great fast-bowler in test history who @ age 34/35+ was still bowling 90+ mph as was seen in the 1987 tour to ENG & 87/88 tour to Windies (before his pace then dropped off).

One of the reasons for this as he suggested was because during his first decade in internaitonal cricket when he was bowling @ his fastest, wickets in PAK where tailor made for spinners & he hardly got much bowling. Compared to a Lillee, Marshall, Hadlee, Roberts, Willis @ the time.

First time I've heard Imran explain some his captaincy. You can see why he was brilliant in this aspect - such a good judge of character and realized the limitations of himself and each of his players. A true legend.

Hey Rob, can you upload some of Marshall against Pak in the 3rd test during the 87/88 series?
