Cricket rule changes

From the article, it's basically as they say the comfort break being taken out.

Yeah, I've since seen that elsewhere. It's up to the umpires to police it, I was under the impression absence from the field had to be approved by the opposition captain anyhoo. I don't see any great problem with them changing their boots or shirts since batsmen can change their gloves, bats etc. Taking showers and feet up is a bit much though, maybe they should have an official with them to monitor their activities.

You have to understand though, that in places like India and Pakistan in the summer, especially for players under 20 or over 30, fielding 50 overs can be hellish without a comfort break or two...

England are screwed :laugh

I don't like the powerplays... Just go back to having the 1st 15 overs with fielding restrictions.

lol.. I agre with this, but i'm really with ICC if they want to change any rule in T20.. I want them to make a garbage out of T20 which in the end is fun to watch.

Set up sprinklers around the field. Then randomly turn them on. ;)

wow, that'd cause lot of injuries, seeing that it's already a big problem for some players.

What? Sprinklers? Usy, I'll probably be sorry I asked but, what are you smoking?

lets keep that a hush-hush-hush.

The powerplay rule, where the batting team gets to choose one is a fantastic feature. I loved it when it was done in Australian domestic. It makes the game much more interesting!!
In Australian Domestic Cricket, did the batting team always use it in the last 5 overs (45-50)

Or was there some rule stopping this?

i reckon this has been a long time coming, it is definetely needed ever since punter got run out by the englsh guy at old trafford in 2005
