Yes looks much better with the added gradient Stu :)

Love the text and bg but i still think the render effects are a little too bright, but still another top quality sig :clap

Great work Stu! Really like the bg and the text. They are quite simple but work really well. As Trev said there is a bit too much contrast on the white on the render, try to reduce that. I cannot say much more becasue there is not much more to say, it is one of your best ;). To give it something else though, see if you can add a couple of pen tool lines too make it look a bit more detailed and add to the depth.

Great work, reps for you...

The jimmy sig is indeed impressive;

Particularly the effect you've put on Jimmy himself, i like it, the background blends well, the text is effective....all but one thing, i'd have liked to see a 1px lining on the england badge, but as always im just picking at the sig, overall out of 10 i'd give it 9.9/10, just the badge which gives it a .1 downfall ;)

Hmmm not too sure about this one, tried a few new brushes into it but still, not too sure of it, anyway here's a Ponting sig

I like it, the render is well designed, nice use of light etc.

If i had anything to say is the background is a little overly busy but it doesnt take away from the sig, 10/10 this time ;) .1 upgrade :D

Nope, its awesome!
are you sure your using the right brush for the border though? Text is a tad wierd. Use JaneAustin.
What light textures are u using?

Light textures were some from Matt's resource pack and I know it's not the right border but I prefer this brush

I'll edit the text though

OH BUGGER! I just realised you can't edit the text because you merge the layers in the tut :mad:

Oh well I'll have another bash at the tut another time, not bad for a first try though I guess...

The sig itself is great although the border and text lets it down. Here's a tup; On your applied image layer where you sharpened it, erase the bit were the text is and it won't look as pixelated as that.
