Former Australian all-rounder Sam Loxton,one of the last living members of the 1948 Ashes series i.e. the Invincible's tour which was the last series for Don Bradman in Tests,passed away on 2nd December 2011.He played 12 Tests for Australia from 1948 to 1951.He performed well in the 1948 Invincibles tour.In 22 first class games in that tour,he averaged 57.23 with the bat and 21.71 with the ball and scored a crucial 93 in the 4th Test at Headingley in Australia's first innings total of 458.Before his death he was the oldest living Australian cricketer aged 94.Now Neil Harvey and Arthur Morris are the only living members of the Invincibles tour.
