When I turn on my Dell D630, it loads to the desktop and as soon as I do something, it just turns off, it won't let me do anything.

This started to happen when I uninstalled the video driver and I have tried to install it again but it keeps turning it self off.

Any ideas how I can reinstall my video driver or fix this problem?

Thanks

Why would you uninstall your video driver? You could try restarting into safe mode but considering that the default driver seems to be problematic, I don't know if that will work.

^ That'd be probably the first thing I'd try. Even if the default one is faulty, hopefully it lasts long enough in safe mode to install the new driver

Yeah Safe mode is the way to go. If you've been using system restore, then maybe restoring it to a date before you uninstalled it would be good.

By turning off, do you mean the whole computer shuts down, or only the screen becomes blank, but the computer still works?

Repair your windows. This way, the faulty default driver will be replaced, and hopefully the new one will work.
