One way of stopping the swing is disabing numpadd 6 and numpad 4 buttons after 10-15 overs(it shud not be the same 10-15 always) depending on the conditions in a 50 over match (but usually the new ball swings for atleast 4-6 overs in any pitch condition). They can enable numpad 4 button(for reverse swing) in the last few overs in dry conditons when the humditidy is less with the old ball.

'SOmetimes' In overcast conditions the ball shud swing throughout the innings or throught the match espshially in new zealand pitches.
On the whole it should not be easy to predict the conditions and there should be random conditions.

In all the Previous games it was so easy to predict the conditions like if we play on green pitch there will be swing all the time and no swing at all in dusty, hard pitches (even in the first 15 overs.).

They need to sort the wides issue out, as bowling on the edge of the wicket so you can't get to it is a severe problem in the demo.

That is great news, it just shows that they are taking an interest in what the customers think.

Rubbergenius, i hope codies FIX problem on laptop "cricket.exe" ERROR.

Do you known anything on this problem? DO YOU HEAR if codies fixes also problem with many LAPTOPs?

Dont forget though all companies say the demo isnt the final code and doesnt represent the quality of the final product etc etc.

But how often do you notice any differences from the demo to the final product.

All it normally means is they make very small un noticecable changes most the time.

i dont think codies will add autoplay feature in the full version.
but there are chances of some bugs getting fixed.

Actually they do make some changes from demo, but it mainly deals with the compatible issues. But Rubbergenius has been very honest and giving us info about the game. So if at all there are any changes, he will let us know.

Info Please..........

Someone has news if the codies they are putting to place the drivers for the laptops? I refer to the CRICKET.exe problem.
Or to know if the problem is in the DEMO, while the complete game will not introduce the problem

:crying

Don't worry if it is compatible issue with computer then it will be fixed in the final version, or they will release a patch.

hehe it'll take more than a month implementing just that without bugs,

i still like the swing though, early overs or not.

We don't support laptops at all unfortunately.

----

Regarding this list of what's been tweaked - I''ll sort out a meeting with the producer soon - trouble is he's busy and I'm busy so it's getting the time to sit down and go through stuff.

And for the plonker on another thread who asked why would we be stupid enough would release demo code that wasn't final code - it's because of the magazines - they have a four-five week lead time so to get the demo out in the mags before launch it has to be based on older code.

EA don't seem to care for tying in with the mags' release dates as much (completely their choice on this - each to their own) so they release a demo based on final code.
