Ok so I'll start with mine.It all started when I was 9 years old.I joint a local Cricket Club near my house.I was too excited on my first day of practice.I was among the juniors of the club that time. That year I just learnt the basics like how to hold the bat and the stance and all that. That year went good our Coach organized matches for juniors among our own club juniors only.I don't remember the shots I played that time sorry for that but I played like a how a nine year old kid plays. Then the next year there was an under 13 tournament and I was selected in the squad of 15.In the whole tournament I got to play just one game and in that math I neither bowled nor batted just fielded and in the rest of the matches I was the twelfth man. That year I practiced regularly then one day when seniors were practicing a ball came to me at a diving distance all the seniors houted catch it and I dived for the first time at the age of 10.That my coach saw my fielding abilities,he was quite impressed. That whole year I did'nt play a single match after the Under 13 Match.
Then next year when I turned 11.I was again included in the squad of 15 for the same Under 13 tournament and my practice resulted that year in my 3rd match of the tournament I made my highest score ever that was 51.The rest of the tourney went good for me I emerged as the fifth highest scorer. That year I was again included in my Under 15 Team but whole tournament I served as a the twelfth man.But I still continued my practice.
The year when I turned twelve changed my cricket totally. That year my coach saw me diving in the practice sessions a lot and that he gave me SS Junior Club Keeping GLoves. That was the beginning of my Wicket Keeping Career.I practiced batting and keeping a lot.A lot of times I got shoutings from my coach but I still continued. That year I was again in the Under 13 team but this time I became the main Wicketkeeper batsman of the squad. That tournament I emerged as the top scorer among the batsmen and I got the Best Wicketkeeper and the best batsman of the Tournament award. Then again I was included in the Under 15 squad but in the first match I got the chance to bat I was out on a duck on the first ball that too clean bowled that thing had stuck in my mind. The whole tournament again I had to continue with serving water and drinks. That first ball duck was stuck in my mind. From that day I started hard practice.I used practice on the hanging ball for long hours.I practiced a lot. Then one day I just started thinking in my mind that am I capable of playing Cricket or no.I thought a lot on it but still I continued hard practice. The whole year i just played matches among my club members and continued practice and that year I got a new bat "SG Strokewell".
The next year when I turned 13 I was totally a different Cricketer.I was a bit mature than before,I started playing sensibily.Again I was in the Under 13 Squad this time. This time I though to do something different in that tournament.I was sent to bat at 4 so in my first match of the tournament I scored 78,in the second 54,third 39,fourth 43,fifth 72,sixth 12,seventh 33,eighth 59 then in the semi finals I got a duck.Still I was included in the Finals and in that match I scored my 57.We Won that tournament I was again rewarded with the best batsman award. That day in one whole practice session my coach just talked to me regarding my aim and all that. Then again came the Under 15 Tournament now I thought I had to do something good this time. The first match I played was a nightmare again I got just 12 but my coach trusted me and I still remember what he told me that day during the second match He told me(in Hindi)"Today is not your day I know today you're gonna fail in your batting again and you'll again get less scores or a 0.But I am sending you again because I see a batsman in you who has the ability to dominate. But you're just doing one thing again and again and that is you're not using your bat. Then before I was leaving for batting he told me"Use your bat and your mind".I went there and I started quite slowly I had 14 runs of 35 balls. Then suddenly a ball ame which appeared too slow to me and I hammered it through the off-side for a four and then I suddenly felt that the Red Leather ball's appearing like a football.Really it appeared quite large when the bowler was bowling and like I am pushing it and scoring runs and in that match I got a good 47.When I returned my coach did'nt tell me a single word. Then after the match I asked him that why did the ball appeared like a big red football. He replied"It was all due to your concentration".Really that time I did'nt understand the meaning of concentration and from that time I learnt that concentration means the Red Leather ball appears like a football lol. That tournament I was agian made the twelfth man and again I served drinks.
Then when I turned 14 our team qualified for the Under 16 Invitational League(The biggest tournament which is played by clubs qualified from all over the state). In that tournament we had 2 day matches and that was my best tournament ever.I got too good scores like 78,84,82,46 etc.But there I saw what real Cricket was.I was not even among the top 30 high scorers of the League because others had scores like 153,188,195,97, etc. That year I played the same Under 15 Tournament too.But this time I was awarded the Best Batsman of the tournament. That year had given me only ups and a bit downs.
The next year I again played the Under 16 Invitational League this time I had turned 15.This time we had 3 day matches.I remember the 3rd match I played I got my first century ever that was my score of 122.Then rest of the tournament I got 4 more centuries by which I saw my name appear in the top 10 scorers of the League and I was among the top 5 Keepers too. Then that same year I played Under 19 Invitational League where I got sores like 52,66,37 etc. That year I saw my name appear for the State Under 16 camp.I was overjoyed that time.I attended the camp but I could'nt make it to the State Under 16 Team. That year our team praticipated in a 40 Over TOurnament. In my whole life I had never crossed 87 in limited overs but in that tournament I got my highest 172*.That had got the eyes of all the selectors near me.That year I played for 6 Major Teams in Pune and kept scoring. The next year which was 2008 totally changed my career.I played the Under 19 Invitational league and then I came in the top 10 scorers.I attended the State Under 19 Camp and I finally made it to my State Under 19 team.

So here was mine.............Please tell about yours.......

I did English for years at school and have reached the level of being able to paragraph. Hopefully you will reach a similar level in the coming years.

My cousin told me that he played cricket next to my building.

I went down the elevator, and in 10 minutes, there I was.

'nuff said.
