Disappearing Players

Guys i'm just wondering if anyone has had players just dissapear? It's only 2007 in my game, I am playing as South Africa, and all of a sudden there is no Jaques Kallis, i've looked all over the team list and can't find his name anywhere . In my game he has been a rather important element to my side. Any ideas?

I would think that Pollock would retire before Kallis being about three years younger than him....

Well you know Kallis, putting himself first Nah, I had Kevin Pietersen 'retire' at the age of 29 in ICC 2002, so it's not impossible.

IT's really a poor thing in the game as some players play till 40-42 and some retires between 32-35

In my old game Shan Warne disapeared and he didnt retire. When the retirements came up he wasnt 1 and he wasnt on the list of players who i have to resign.

erm, *stupid question* do they 'inform' you when someone retires? Or do they just do the Kallis Houdini trick and dissapear? Pollock is still playing for me at 38... So, yeh thats what is very confusing!

ya i had this shane warne and G Mcgrath vanished for me after just 1 year

Well Sachin still plays for me at 39 but Kumble disappeared only after one year.

That happened to me aswell McGrath, Warne and Hogg all vanished without retiring.
