PC Beach Cricket Season 2 - Game Goes International
Round 1
Match 2
Newzealand VS The Pulsating Pandavas
Welcome PC viewers to the second match of this Season 2 of this exciting cricketing form. Irfan Pathan's knock could not help the Indians to seal the match and we saw the first match as the match of All Rounder's. Irfan took 3 wickets and scored 79 runs and in return from the Warriors had Meghraj taking 3 wickets and Prithvi scoring 40+ odd runs.
Today it's the Newzealand Team playing against the Pandavas who had a pretty OK last season. They were the favourites to enter the finals but 3 in 3 lose in the last 3 matchs saw their exit from BC 1 and they did not enter finals. They had their Captain RDF playing well last season and now this is new season and new fresh start for them.
Let's see the weather conditions out their.
1501 people present and attending todays match. Captain of Newzealand remains same but i am quite surprised that Newzealand are not playing even one of their specialist bowler leaving Dannie. Oram,Ryder are named the other bowlers to bowl. We saw specialist making a great impact in the match where Meghraj took 3 wickets and then Pathan taking 3 and almost winning it's side a match. Hope Vettori can create some magic out here.
Let's see who wins the toss
So Vettori have exposed it's weak bowling by electing bowl first. If they can restrict the Pandavas to a moderate total then Playing 5 Batsman will really help them.
Let's see who wins the match.
So in the end the nightmare for the Kiwi's became true. Thier bowling let them down but never mind still many matches to come.
Man of the Match: Westindian (Pandavas) -4/38
