When you say DD do you mean Doordashan? I thought they were better covering the England tour in 2006 than Neo Sports were last year. The graphics they had were used by the BBC.

^Ya, DD is Doordarshan.

I don't remember correctly and I maybe wrong, but I think DD didn't cover that England tour of 2006, that was most probably Ten Sports, ESPN, or Star Sports.

The graphics they had were used by the BBC.

BBC uses such low quality, blurry, and utterly crap graphics!:eek::eek::eek:

I am pretty sure they did cover the 2006 tour. Put money on it. The graphics the BBC had werent bad either. A different colour to the ones from the England tour but very much the same style.

skater added 2 Minutes and 26 Seconds later...

I might add the DD coverage we saw here was only the graphics and commentators. We have our own studio presenters and its against the law here to have ads after each delivery.

What about Sony max??
I feel like hitting television box with remote when I see Sony telecasting. If the ball is near the stands, (I mean when someone hits for a six) he shows the batsmen and the commentator will produce some jokes.
Last IPL, I donno the match, CSk playing in their home ground, Arunlal, who took up the commentry, said these words for a Six (Dhoni hit that one)
"Its up in the air and Dhoni is gone...... He is gone for a six:watchtv:watchtv:laugh:laugh"
Even there are many other situations like that but I cleanly remember that one as that was the funniest comedy commentary I 've ever seen

He wouldnt have said that during the IPL he would have said it had gone for a DLF Maximum.

This is the same all over the world. When Binnu said ad after each ball, he actually meant ads after "each over" or after "a wicket". Of course, Indian broadcasters don't show ads after "each delivery". Then they will get murdered in the hands of Indian public, to us cricket is like religion.

What I mean is here TV broadcasters are only allowed to show a certain amount of minutes of ads per hour.

I actually like Sony Max but they are not as good as they used to be before during Sharjah Cup matches. They did a reasonably good job in WC 07 but Neo Cricket is something just more than rubbish, imo the crappy overlay is what makes it a bad channel :p

lol.... BTW I don't like sony and neo broadcasting.... they just see up for TRP ratings.... they just want money not the public welfare...
