Does BLC run on WIn 2000 ?

Hello all.
I am planning to get BLC soon, but I have WIn 2K as my operating system. The system requirements mentioned for BLC are Win 95/98. Will it work with Win 2000 ? Coz if it doesn't, no point in getting it.

Is there any diference between win 2000 and windows me? I have win me, and it works fine.

there is a big diff betwn me and 2000. where the later is meant also for network
