Don Bradman Cricket 14 Official Trailer

Hmmmm.

Rugby league live was described by IGN as "poor"

Rugby League Live 2 Review - IGN

How would you describe that game?

Their game by critics have not been well! however once you play it will know that they have good reputations. Rugby league is one of the franchise that they worked and doing really well.

other major factor to take in account is BigAntStudios has reputation to fix issues via patches.

Considering that they made Rugby League live 1, RLL2 a patch as well and now world cup editions only shows that consumers have enjoyed the game.

Anyone felt something odd when the ball makes contact with the bat sometimes ?,even in the previous videos from play session, some balls went through the bat,..

Ross, if I am critical of the game, I will make it constructive. It's a good opening trailer for the game. I appreciate what you & the team have done. The game I expect to buy would be a strategy game where I'd have to outthink the oppositon. With what we've read about it here at PC.net, I think you guys have got it right. Cricket is so cerebral, certainly not just a slogfest. I'm really greatful to you guys for your efforts. And everyone here agrees. Right guys?

if i had a dollar for every time biggs broke forum rules i could provide ross with a budget matching fifa

----------

btw game looks awesome and as some have said we want bigant profitable for decades to come so were all behind you bigant

Just picture Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider saying "You can do it"

Strange to make a trailer which could have easily been ashes cricket. No mention of any features of things unique to the game, just the same old bat and bowl montage hacked together. You can see bradmans hand goes through the bat, now i know that just happens with games but dont put it in your flagship trailer.

Truly am puzzled how this got through quality control.

On several Fifa trailers in the past and even recently, feet have been seen to go through the ground or the ball, occasionally another player's leg, which happens a lot in the actual game. It is unavoidable in games. It also took me about 5 views to notice the finger, and it's on for about half a second, so I don't think many will care or even see it.

Seems a bit strange though, wouldnt have been that hard to tidy it up, strikes of laziness.

Not impressed by the trailer to be honest, as others have said, it could have been any cricket game and shows no distinguishing/innovative features...

It's so insignificant that it hardly matters. The only way you'll notice it is if you keep pausing it to check for minor mistakes every second, which most people don't do for a game trailer. Anyway, surely people aren't going to not buy it just because Bradman's finger partially goes through the bat for less than half a second?

yes if games having 100 times more budget dont bother doing that but BA with their low budget should fix that.

nice logic :facepalm

No... Big games have a solid fanbase who pretty much know what to expect. Small studios are trying to win people over, why leave it in there when they could have just reshot it/tweaked the angle?

Its mad how much peopl defend big ant to the extend they ignore logic. Should that have been in there, no. Whether others do it or not is the point, theyre trying to stand out in a niche market which has served shit. Atleast kid the buyers its good.

so when fifa started, they had a solid fan base?
Seriously?

so according to your logic fifa should have fixed this as when they started they didn't have the fan base but still haven't.

On other other hand BA should do it. :facepalm
I'm out of this discussion now.

Next person to compare DBC14 to FIFA gets banned. It's a ridiculous, irrelevant comparison.

Is this actually a thing? Because if it isn't; it should be; and if it is, then there's quite a few bans already!

I probably should have said this earlier, there is nothing anyone could post here that will change or effect the release date in any way.

Of the MILIION+ people that have heard this Ashes news, how many actually came on here and read one post - I bet it's a very, very small percentage.

This morning I had a concerned family ask me if everything is OK because I must be devastated that my game was so poorly received, and a long term friend of 20+ years called me this afternoon to say the same, argh!!

I wish there is something done to make people and press understand the differentiation between these two games. The community drove the Trickstar's game out of the way, now it's time to bring the DBC in light, tell others there is a cricket game coming out which is not only 100 times better than Ashes but is also made by different developers.
