If the ball is on leg side and I play a shot to place it between 11 and 12'o clock that would be an on drive, not a flick/glance.[DOUBLEPOST=1485238059][/DOUBLEPOST]

I'm on PS4 so the standard PS4 controller.

Placing the footwork mate ,not the shot...Shot placement would be correct its the foot movement that takes it across..

I'm trying to flick the ball from the stumps or from just outside the off stump. So shouldn't I press left stick straight, i.e. to 12'o clock? Also, any tips about the cover drive, i.e. how to place the ball to left or right of cover fielder?

If played from the stumps get the footwork at one or two dots to the right of 12'o clock just like you would in real life..Mind you if its between 12 and one he would move more to the side like you complained..

Cover drive also the same as real life get the footwork to the ball when its like 4th stump line footwork should be in like 1'o clock or even a bit further which takes you close the ball and the closer you get to the ball the well placed shot you get and travels well..

Could you try doing a full shutdown/restart of the console - hold the power button in for 10+ seconds to turn the console off, then unplug it from the wall and leave it for two minutes or so, then plug back in and turn on.

I will try this when get home today evening. Will let u know the results. Thanks for replying

-Outside off line played an on drive :Footwork towards the bowler.

-This one is the cover drive when bowled in 4th stump like: Footwork towards cover..

-This one off a spinner who bowled outside leg and played towards mid wicket: Footwork between bowler and mid on say 5'o clock

The on drive does not happen for me...everytime I try play ondrive batsman plays the hit to cow corner! Its annoying!

Why does it not show player stats when a player is walking out to bat in a tour game?

What they fix? Tour and competition stats not fix it's not updates wait more then month for this patch and still not fix important issues
