Don Bradman Cricket 17 - Suggestions

For a guy who loves his stats and I'm sure most cricket fans do an idea I'd love to see is like in nba2k end of season awards I know if you look in stat sheets can figure it out but would be so satisfying to see a trophy with your name under say for most runs in the league or club or domestic season or internationaly or things like most aggressive player but must average over say 20 runs or even best 11 for the end of year with parameters set for selection. Even a icc player of the year and Alan border medal. Thinking some one mentioned under age tours even like a Australia a tour would be great addition....thoughts?

Yea. Player of the year, bowler of the year, batsman of the year, most 6s of the year, fielder of the year, and of course team of the year.

Well I must say that I am very impressed with the revolution you guys have brought in the world of cricket game. I must say that I was very excited for the launch of the new game "don bradman cricket 17". 2. The commentary in this game is the worst you'll see in any sports game. How did you guys even come up with the idea of adding this sort of commentary in the game? Don't tell me that you guys didn't notice that the commentary in this game actually made it look even worse. If you didn't then I'm sorry to say but you need to hire a new team. Majority didn't like your commentary and I mean it. The timing of commentary is very bad. They say different things at different times. I mean it's a a big chaos and it's very very annoying and depressing to see that you and your team even allowed this to be a part of such an amazing game or atleast an amazing effort. People are replacing the commentary with crowd sounds and all, please work on it and release a new commentary patch in future. You have to!!

3. Major bugs in the game.
A) Batsmen taking a stance all the way at popping crease of the bowler
B) Umpire giving the batsmen out even when he's been caught by a fielder who's way inside the boundary line
C) Game crashing most of the time while playing custom tournaments
D) Random game crashes out of nowhere. I mean in my first hour of gameplay, my game crashed for about 2-3 times and this is totally unacceptable for any game

All this didn't happen once but a lot of times. I understand there is a patch fix coming for that but most of this shouldn't be happening on the first place. Regardless of the fact that your game was released a week before the actual date, this can't be happening. Please elaborate why?

Forget about all the small bugs. You guys deserve the benefit of doubt as there is no such thing as a perfect game.


I would also like to make a suggestion if that helps. This game could easily become one of the best cricket games if you guys put some more time on it and work on more patches in future before even thinking about a third edition of "DBC". So you guys need to release few patches before we all move on and you have to makeup for the terrible experience everyone is going through. Just like you guys, we all have invested our time and effort in this game as well.

Again I am not trying to bring anyone down. Me and a lot others do have a lot of expectations from you and your team. It's not a personal attack on anyone but I am just trying to be more logical as to why these things shouldn't happen. Again, my apologies of anyone's sentiments got hurt as I might sound frustrating (the game made me so)

I do not agree with a lot of this. On all your points i will make a point.
1. I did not experience this bug and you say your not trying to bring anyone down but you're calling them careless and ignorant.
2. You're not trying to bring them down , so why not say you need a new team. I would like to see you do better. But I agree mostly but not to that extent.
3. A) Yeah just a bug.
B) I haven't experienced it but again its just a bug in the early stage of a game.
C) D) i haven't been expeiriencing crashing at all.

What do you mean one of the best cricket games ever, its easily the best in my books. You're saying that you're having a terrible experience, is it just me or is no one else having a terrible experience, well at least not everybody.

You say you're not attacking anybody! If you think that reread what you just posted. You targeted the whole commentary team (if they have a whole team dedicated to commentary). You called them careless and ignorant and you targeted all of them by saying everyone is having a terrible experience.

You're the one spending your life writing a comment the size of a dictionary about how you don't like the game.
 
I think everyone needs to show more emotion batsman, bowlers, fielders, commentators and crowd.

They might take a wicket to win the world cup and they would show just as much emotion as a random wicket in a random fixture.

Especially commentator emotion. "oh thats going for six" compared to "OHHHHHHH THATS MASSIVE, HUGE HIT"
 
I'm playing a test match and I'm batting but the AI fields are horrible. They didn't put a mid on and as a result the runs flowed through that area. Especially with the timing in this it was so easy.
 
Wouldn't it be cool if the players had a timing stat based on how well they time the ball. The higher the stat the larger the margin for timing the ball perfectly. Say Josh Halewood was batting he might have to get the timing on the millisecond to get it perfect (because his timing isn't to great) compared to say David warner who might have have a second to time the the ball and if he gets it in that area he gets perfect timing.

It is the best cricket game easily. I got it on Christmas Day and have played it every day since. Even with all the bugs it's by far the best cricket game to date. And it's just improved with the latest patch.
 
Maybe that is because its the only cricket game that is out atm. Hard to compare it when there is nothing to compare with!
