Story Dream to Represent Team India|| A career Story||[UPDATE: OUR BOWLERS TURN OUT TO BE EPIC FAIL]

. I was rewarded with the bail on middle stump and off stump in my hands. The ball being a very quick one, din't touch my bat at all! The ball directly hit the stumps and the bail went up in the air and fell on my head

You do everything except batting :p In earlier case, you were bothered about whether ball was spot ON for a LBW & now this one? Stump in hands. Even Lee or Bond cannot achieve this - Knocking the stumps & bringing the stumps forward to the batsman :sarcasm Need to cultivale reality in story line.

1) Writing has too improve loads. It just gets boring as it sounds like 'I hit this ball there and then this there and then that one over there and so on.'

2) Also, I feel you are always too shocked or amazed.

I echo the above two points mentioned. There is a monstrous flaw in the execution of storyline. Never give up, consider all the suggestions & give a simple thought processing on the suggestions. Simple thinking will auto-execute the other stuffs in correct way. :)

Over the third man off a spinners bowling?

You can't go for fours if you're batting. You can hit fours.

Yeah, I even am feeling the same after reading your reply:). I'll fix those mistakes in my next update:).

And Yeah, Rahul Sharma bowls at mid 90's. So, the ball will get some sorta velocity as a result of leading edge and the ball can reach the boundary when someone like Rahul Sharma / Shahid Afridi is bowling:).

Binnu added 2 Minutes and 45 Seconds later...

The Game Plans and Warm Ups.

Date: 10th November, 2009.
Place: PCA Stadium, Mohali.

Well, we walked into our dressing rooms and our coach there was ready to give us instructions and how to play. I was clearly said that I was not going to be given the ball as the total which we put was a low one and still, it was the first day. I was happy 'cause I din't knew the circus which I was going to do if I was given the ball:laugh:p. Our coach said that at any situation, at any cost, we were to restrict them to below 282 as the first innings lead was to become major role than net runrate.

Then, we head to our hotel rooms, took rest for that day. The next morning, we all woke up by 06:30 hours and we all started for stadium by 07:00 hours. We started warm ups there.

Then, we had even Punjab team practicing with their full effort. The players of Deccan Chargers of our team and Punjab team were in funny chat and we all were practicing. The time was about 08:30. So, we all gathered at our dressing room. Khaleel was selected for India A for the practice game against Sri Lanka. So, he was to miss our next match. Khaleel had good thoughts than me. He said that he'd be fielding in this match, by giving pads to me:banana2. I was damn happy as I enjoy wicket keeping. I readily accepted the challenge and I had few minutes of wicket keeping practice.

Our coach was instructing all of us to be careful on field and he said us not to miss any catches and do mis fields as that was the main reason for the team failure in the previous match. He said that Munugapa Praneet Arjun was to start the proceedings for us by keeping his bowling performance in the last match in mind. We were all set to go on field. I took the wicketkeeper position, Munugala Praneet Arjun was given the ball as he proved himself in the previous occasions. The main question in all our heads was "Will we bounce back?"

Stick glued till the next episode to check out:).

Our Plans turn EPIC FAIL!

Date: 11th November, 20009.
Place: Mohali.

It was a terrific day for us while fielding. The Punjab batsmen dominated that day. Our target of restricting turned out to be a nightmare:yes:facepalm. I had had big role, but I even dropped a catch of V Bhalla, who turned out to be a good costly customer for us.

Sunny Sohal and Ravi Inder gave them a good start, with Ravi Inder getting out in a controversial decision. Everyone except umpire knew that the ball nicked bat before it was hitting his pads, but his poor luck our good luck, he was sent. Then came in Uday Kaul, who played for about half an hour & went away. He din't trouble us much. Then walked in Taruvar Kohli, who just appeared for few minutes and went away. Pankaj Dharmani walked in. We all were in good hope of picking some wickets there, with two quick wickets fell just in recent past. And then came the frustrating 104 run stand, which irritated us like anything!

That 104 run had a day break in it. But finally, we picked up the opener Sunny Sohal early in the Day-3 to Tirumalasetti Suman. Then walked in Kakkar, who played a responsible knock, but he fell in the trap of Tirumalasetti Suman again!
"Whats this goin on? Suman is picking wickets:laugh" was what my mind was thinking.
Then came in Bhalla, who turned out to be an expensive one! He was trying to get run - a - ball, but the partnership between them frustrated us a bit. I dropped Bhalla when he was on 15. If I'd have taken that catch, the result would have been other way. The ball nicked the bat and was going to come on to my glove. I thought that I needed to do some work for that catch, and I tried to dive front to take that catch. OMFG! Thank god I was guarded with Helmet, else, I'd have been in hospital that evening. The ball hit my helmet!:facepalm

Everyone said not to worry and asked to concentrate on the game. Finally, Absolem got him, but not the other person. Rahul Sharma walked in. On the other hand, Pankaj Dharmani lifted his bat along with his helmet for his century at 11:00Am on day 3. And Finally, we picked him up on 104. Ojha bowled a beauty and he had no clue on how it was going to turn. The ball hit wickets and "wooooffff......" was the sound on all our mouths, rather than celebrating "Yeppieeee...". And we were shocked to see that they crossed up to what we thought. 282:facepalm.

All we thought was to get them all out by 350 or so, which seemed likely. Rahul Sharma contributed 18, Manpreet Gony 14, Harmeet Singh 4 and Love Ablish remained unbeaten on 14.

Our bowlers were worked bit hard. Suman was topping the table with 4 wickets, by picking two of the last three batsmen, Absolem and Maqsusi picked up 2 each, with Ojha and Mohan one each.

They made us bowl almost 133 overs:facepalm. We walked in, and our coach surprisingly was shouting ,"Well played boys, good work". I was shocked. Then he took us to the dressing room and started saying the strategy for our batting. I was padded up already as I was keeping. I just washed my face and got myself ready.
