"Although the DRS improves correct umpire decisions by around five per cent and corrects any blatant errors, there are some who are not convinced by its reliability," Haroon Lorgat, the ICC's chief executive, said in a release.

Subtle haha

The system will improve. Just not if the BCCI have anything to do with it. No doubt in the process of making their own version so they can claim some kind of royalties.

ICC toothless as always.:mad :facepalm Thankfully we will have full drs vs aus and sri lanka in SA this summer.

Ridiculous tweaking decision. The ICC needs to grow a pair and stand up to the BCCI.

If the ICC could bend over even more for the BCCI, they'd have their head up their ass.

Good job!!! Eliminates the time wasted on ridiculous technology! Let other countries play with DRS. To DRS proponents - don't watch India games.

Hello! First post here,

Slightly disappointed with this news, in my opinion its been a huge improvement to test cricket, umpires like it because it overturns shockers and players like it becuase they don't get out to shockers.

Surprised India didnt fancy it after their England tour, several Indian wickets would have been over turned if it was there, and also Broad wouldnt have completed his hatrick.

It's a shame becuase it seems India have got the hump over Ian Bell in the world cup, as someone else said the ICC need to stop being dictated by the BCCI.

I think BCCI should have the confidence in Sachin Tendulkar that he can do his 100th century and even more centuries even with having DRS. Don't know why they are so much afraid.

There goes another poor decision by ICC...... :facepalm

:rolleyes While the BCCI has no leg to stand on to oppose the DRS, I think even they won't resort to such an argument.

As for Lorgart reversing his decision...:facepalm

Are you for real? Or, are you someone from BCCI?

You are awesome. Just post some sense, maybe you can't but, still try to.

I wish it read, 'DRS mandatory', as many others do.
