Intel Centrino 1.6 GHz 512 MB , 60GB

I recently installed cricket 2004 from EA sports, and have been trying to configure it since then.
The graphics are just too fast, as if in a fast forwarded video. Everything I have access to is just to fast.
say I click a menu, it seems to be clicked twice.
The players, batsman, fielders look like running as a fast motion video

I donno what the problem is. I tried reducing the hardware acceleration, but didnt work
what could be the issue here ?

pls help me
thanks

Really Unusual ! :o   :o   :gasp: :P

:P we had this problem before ,

1:try to run some memory consuming programs in the back ground ,

2: put video screens on

3:use high grafics settings .

4:make norton to scan ur pc for virus ,

5: trade ur pc with mine :P

the prob is that ur pc specs exceeds the max. requirments...all you can do is set every thing on high and then try...if it still doesnt work then run some progs like explorer..etc that should do the trick

explorer .......Are u kidding ?
Its always running !

Seems like EA sports didnt program the game for centrino's.. I have the same problem and fortunately (rather unfortunately from EA point of view) have the similar specs as the one mentioned above.

I've tried running several programs in the background but this is still too fast to play. Could there be a patch available for this prob?

i had the same problem, but fixed it,

search for a program called CPULower and it lets you slow down you computer by as much as you want

i reccomend setting it to 25%

Thanks wackojacko,

CPULower helps. I had to set mine to 40% lower.

Now I can finally enjoy cricket 2004.

Thanks again

Hey Wacko,
Great work !! Thanks, finally the issue is resolved !! keep up the good work

Ricky

Goto settings when you bring the cricket and and change the resolution to 800x600 32 bits and it will lower your speed.
If you find that also faster, then change the resolution to 1040x728. That will really lower ur speed.

Again the resolution change is not for your computer, but for the cricket game.

There was a topic a month ago try search for it it was solved

Phew,

I also have a centrio laptop. My game was also running too fast.

After reading help from this forum i have solved the problem.

Thanks.
