i don't think that the robo crouch looks very good, but has anyone seen the celebration that owen does, it takes up a minute and a half. its quite funny really

ok,just need a few opinions on this.Although most of your comments so far have been positive of Fifa 07,Id like to know if the game is really worth getting,I can only really get one game,so would Fifa 07 be that game or should I wait for PES's version or buy any of the cricket games??Bah I hate making such decisions.

Wait for PES and buy that. FIFA 07 is a good game but it's a carbon copy of last year's edition. Now I know i'll get abused for saying that PES is better in a FIFA thread but i'm being genuine Sid, get PES.

FIFA will be basically the same for PC and Ps2.

But 360 is another story. The FIFA vs PES battle this year on the 360 is taken a step forward with the FIFA demo being released on Xbox Live marketplace and even PES fanboys are very suprised how good the gameplay has become, and the graphics are amazing.

And with Konami being an asian company, i dont see them investing alot of time into the 360 seeing as they are all sony fanboys. Screenshots dont look to impressive.

But still, i think PES6 will come on tops purely because of gameplay, only just though. EA are heading in the right direction and i believe FIFA 08 will be a better game than PES7.

Sid, if you really want to use your mind while playing football, then there is no other option but to buy PES.
but if you don't care much about gameplay and are only concerned with crowd noise, club chants,manager mode and commentry then buy FIFA. Apart from these 4 features there's nothing you can't get (and get better)in Pro-evo.

The best thing I guess to do would be to wait for the Pro Evo demo,in any case Ive pretty much made my mind up on getting one of these two games,so looks like no cricket games for me this time around.

Most of the EA SPORTS titles on PC & PS2 this year e.g NHL 07,Nascar 07 & FIFA 07 are similar to their predecessors apart from 1 or 2 minute improvements in gameplay,XBOX 360 versions are better & offer much more than PC & PS2 versions of the respective titles.EA are paying putting more effort into next generation systems & completely ignoring PC & current generation systems,each one of which have atleast 100 times bigger community than XBOX 360/PS3/WII.Other developers are making sure that members of the current generation community enjoy the same innovations & features of their games as the next generation ones do.

Coming to FIFA 07,it's minutely better than FIFA 07 but to a casual gamer,it appears same as its predecessor.Haven't reaaly been impressed after playing it for about a week now.I think PES 6 is gonna be better.I've already played World Soccer Winning Eleven 10(Japanese version of PES 6),it's definitely better & offers much more than FIFA 07 both in terms of gameplay & graphics.It had 1 or 2 minute flaws but Knami have now announced that they've fixed them in the european & american versions of the game(PES 6 & Winning Eleven:PES 6 respectively).I really can't wait till PES 6 comes out.

Well the good thing about the game is you can win one game 4-0 and lose the next one 1-2. Players getting fatigued is a lot more realistic. (althought at times too much)

Sorry for having to delete the last few posts but when I say please stick to Fifa 07 discussion in this thread, that's exactly what I mean - Not 'ignore me and post about PES anyway' :

Again this topic is turning into a PES v FIFA thread - its the Fifa 07 thread so talk about Fifa 07 only please. Occasionally mention to PES where appropriate is ok, but any more blatant PES v FIFA posts will eventually lead to members being mod previewed

And cricket doctor, I know you like PES, I like(d) PES but you dont have to go saying stuff like "you dont need a brain to play fifa, PES is the obvious choice" just get Fifa 07, play it for a while and try online then come back and see if you need a brain to play. You do, Fifa 07 can get very tactical with build up play and in the midfield.

I didn't mean exactly what you are saying buy yeah, after playing FIFA 07 quite a bit, I've now started to recognize the good work that FIFA has done, so no disrespect to FIFA.
and I've not yet played it online but still liking it in single player mode. Manager mode is although not perfect but enough to keep me interested. I'm not playing PES 5 anymore so you can understand what I mean.

but I still say, gameplay of PES is better than FIFA.

Anyone been playing the X-360 Demo?A definite improvement...Great graphics,could use a some different shooting animations(That Animation in PES where the striker just neatly places the ball pass the keeper-that is a sweet animation),but overrall some really great physical animations,and more in depth stats give it a very realistic feel.Pity no commentary.
