All this blur in the backgrounds of these pictures are awful as well - look outside your window, does it look blurry?

It's camera focusing. Put an object about a metre in front of a wall and look hard at it, and the rest goes blurry. Look at the wall and the object goes blurry.

But god they overdid it..

Have people seen OPS2 this month? They reckon it could topple Pro Evo. I'll be diving into my pockets to get both then :p

It's always the case with EA's products, so don't get too excited.

The new domestic football season is almost upon us and whilst all the team at SPOnG eagerly await the latest news on the next iteration of Konami?s incredible Pro Evolution Soccer series, we are also contractually obliged to bring you the news on that other football game.

Yes, it?s FIFA again, the game that?s nowhere near as good as Pro Evo (this is scientific fact, we have carried out surveys) yet sells well amongst casual gamers and football fans due to EA?s blanket marketing coverage and canny licensing.

And whilst we steadfastly refuse to advise anybody to buy FIFA, the reality is that at least one or more of our friends and/or family will be tricked by clever marketing/licensing into buying this game at some point in the next few months, and - even worse - they will challenge us to a game.
As our Andrew so perceptively put it, when the FIFA news came up our pipe earlier: ?This is akin to playing Sticky Belly Cock Flap with your nephews while your mum and sisters record it for posterity.?

Now why it's good to keep the reader aware to blanket marketing...it is very unwise to take the side of a series no matter what. They seem to think that if it weren't for the marketing that nobody would like EA's FIFA!Absolute rubbish...A fair few people just don't like that foreign feel that follows PES around like a bad smell(I like PES very much).I fthey did that with all games....

FIFA 2007 is being developed on a new engine and is exclusive for the xbox 360 along with pro evo 6 for a period of 12 months
