Some preliminary info on editing player data and lineups in BLIC.
The data is stored in GUI/TeamandPlayerInfo.bag
Players are listed in squad order and there also seem to be some space slots which we can hopefully use:
e.g.
66049 - England squad (16 players)
69376 - England 1882
72704 - England 1933
76032 - England 1948
79368 - England 1972
82688 - England 2004
86016 - England CT2004
89345 - England WC2003

The current idea would be to copy the player data from the licensed modes so we can have the correct face + bat in exhibition mode. I'll try this sometime tomorrow.

I'm still not sure how it works. I've got a lot of work to do before I can achieve this.

Great work Colin, just remember to do the England team first old chap! :)

Couple of things to add to this in light of the editing developments in the other thread. Counting after the DOB byte 17 is the bat type and byte 20 is the sun screen.

Both in decimal form they go from 000-045 for the bats and 000-005 for the sun screen.

Sun screen:

000 - None
001 - Nose, Under Eyes, Lower Lip
002 - Nose, Cheeks, Lower Lip
003 - Nose Lips
004 - Lips
005 - Max Protection

Bats
000 - Classic
001 - Default
008 - GN Powerbow (GN6)
010 - GM Maxi (GM2)
011 - GM Purist (GM1)
013 - Hunts County ... (HC?)
017 - Ponting Kahuna
018 - Lara MRF
027 - Duncan Fearnley Cobra Blue (DF6)
028 - GN Millennium (GN4)
036 - Kookaburra Damien Martyn Diablo (K3)
041 - Newbury Zeus (N?)

Thus we can start to assign bats to players in licensed mode and try and find a way to do it in unlicensed mode. The 4 byte string from bat to sun screen is as follows:

Lara - 018 009 009 000
Ponting - 017 014 014 000
Strauss - 008 000 015 000
Vaughan - 011 099 099 000
Trescothick - 010 023 023 000
Me - 027 036 036 004

Hard to see any pattern like for the faces but I'll keep at it.

So, using the hex editor, and using freddie flintoff as an example i have gone along 17 after his last digit in his DOB and come to the number 01, so if i change this to 041, he would use the newbery zeus in game?? Someone help plz!! Thanks
