Editing players in ICC 2005

Hi, I googled this a few days back before posting here. I came across a program called ICEd, which can't read the .cap files and there doesn't seem to be any .db files in the ICC 2005 folder, which the Readme says I should open the aforementioned file types from.
Is there anyway I can get ICEd to work (a patch?) or is there any other ways of editing players?

ICEd does not work on any version from 2000 onwards.

Oh, cheers. Anyone know of any other way I can edit players? Or even download 2000 for free/cheap?
