We dominate but we lose. Ok.
We have classy players on attack but no one has clicked for us yet. Time to change the formation I guess. :(

Real Madrid 1 vs Bayer Leverkusen 0
Cristiano Ronaldo '45(PEN)
A Cristiano Ronaldo penalty helped Real to a 1-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen, in a game where both keepers were on top form. Real had an early chance when Willian opened the defence but Ronaldo flashed the shot wide. Similarly, Bale missed a good chance for Leverkusen. Real took the lead on the brink of halftime, converting a penalty. Keylor Navas made an impressive double save in the dying minutes from Bony and Bale, from a corner routine.
MOTM: Petr Cech: Very good display from the Czech international, making important saves from Cristiano and Higuain.

Valencia 1 vs Borussia Dortmund 3
Zlatan Ibrahimovic '24(Wesley Sneijder), Ibrahimovic '56(Sneijder), Kevin Grosskreutz '67(Marco Reus), Paco Alcacer '80(Lionel Messi)
A Zlatan Ibrahimovic brace along with a Grosskreutz thunderbolt helped Dortmund to a fairly comfortable 3-1 win over Messi. Zlatan opened the scoring, scoring a sensational scissor kick. Zlatan doubled the lead in the 56th minute, scoring a header from a Sneijder cross. Kevin Grosskreutz tripled the lead with a rocket from range. Paco Alcacer scored for Valencia in the 80th minute, but it was nothing more than consolation.
MOTM: Wesley Sneijder: Amazing display from the Dutch man, chipping in with two assists.

FC Porto 2 vs Tottenham Hotspurs 2
Glen Johnson '29(Susaeta), Jackson Martinez '32(Isco), Emmanuel Adebayor '52(Paulinho), Ricardo Quaresma '90(Lahm)
Ricardo Quaresma scored a late, late equaliser for Porto against Spurs in an exciting 2-2 draw. Johnson gave Spurs the lead with a well taken goal before Jackson equalised just 3 minutes later. Adebayor gave Spurs the lead once more from a good header but Quaresma curled a ball into the top corner to equalise.
MOTM: Jackson Martinez: Good display from the Colombian, who will be very happy to cap his performance with a goal.

Atletico Madrid 2 vs Shakhtar Donetsk 2
Luiz Adriano '35(Kevin de Bruyne), Dimitry Payet '50(Mile Jedinak) , Mario Mandzukic '60(Kolarov), Mandzukic '82(Griezmann)
Atletico staged a marvelous comeback, to draw 2-2 from being 2-0 down. Luiz Adriano latched onto a Kevin de Bruyne through ball to give Shakhtar the lead. Dimitry Payet scored in the 50th minute to double that lead, scoring a wonderful header. Mario Mandzukic scored a typical Mandzukic goal, a header from a looping cross. Mandzukic got on the scoresheet again, finishing off a lightening quick counter-attack. Shakhtar were left ruing their movement, as the counter arose from an offside call.
MOTM: Mario Mandzukic: Amazing performance from the Croatian, scoring an awesome brace.

Chelsea 1 vs FC Barcelona 1
Alexandre Lacazette '50(Oscar), Wayne Rooney '90
Barcelona will be heading home wondering how they did not win this game, after they dominated the Blues throughout the 90 minutes. Barcelona had an early chance but Rakitic mistimed his shot. Chelsea's goal came from a Neymar mistake, which allowed Oscar to slip in a ball to Lacazette, who finished. Barcelona came agonizingly close after Rooney hit the post in the 85th minute but he redeemed himself by scoring in the 90th minute to level things.
MOTM: Alexandre Lacazette: A very well taken goal for a player who looked lively throughout.
