Really, really tough decision to leave out Prabath Jayasuriya for Matheesha Pathirana, but I did not want to enter this final with only two frontline pacers. Equally tough to leave out Naseem for Adam Zampa, but I'd imagine with Cummins and Bumrah being the obvious choices ahead of Naseem, I'd strengthen my spin attack and play Zampa, who typically tends to do well in big games.

I'd back our boys to fight tooth and nail at the very least.​

That unbeaten 70-run 8th wicket stand for Basnahira has put the match at an even position for both the teams.

Basnahira started on the wrong foot with the early wicket of Avishka.
Kusal Perera played well for 69 and had 50-run partnerships with Kamindu and Chandimal.

Wanindu Hasaranga was the stand-out performer from both the sides. His legspin dominated the middle-overs,
