Bangladesh Arrive In England
Bangladesh have just touched down in England getting ready for there matches in England. Bangladesh will go in to the series the weakest international team in the world but have nothing to lose in England. Flintoff had this to say:

Flintoff said:
We can't take them lightly at all, Vaughny knows what there capable of as we all do but we're going to play to the best of our ability.

England Win The Toss

Michael Vaughan said:
I think we're going to put Bangladesh in to bat first and see what happens from there. It's fairly cloudy and we hope to get the ball swinging and we'll take it from there

Hoggard Starts Well
England opening bowler Matthew Hoggard managed to grab a wicket just after coming from a 40 minute shower spell. Hoggard bowled a bounced which Ahmed swung at and got a piece of the ball and went straight to Geraint Jones

===========================================

Omar Can't Take The Spin
Ashley Giles managed to take the 2nd wicket of the game in what is turning in to quite an even contest so far. Omar got to 36 before trying to lift the ball back over Giles. The pace of the delivery caught out Omar and was cleanly bowled

============================================

In Steps Jones
Simon Jones got his first wicket of the day combining with Giles to catch out Rajin Saleh. Jones has had a good start so far looking to take a wicket in every over he bowls. Full-ish delivery and Saleh went for the big hit but it all went wrong and England came out on top

============================================

Harmison Traps Imran
Stevie Harmison trapped Imran in front of his wicket with a pacey 90mph delivery. After bowling a series of bounces and slow balls outside off stump the dreaded ball came and Imran didn't have a prayer. The umpire had no choice but to give out

Jones Pulls Off Another Wicket
Simon Jones picked his first wicket of the match sending Hossain back to the pavillion. Hossain made a tasty 71 in a good innings. It was a simple mis timed drive edging it to Trescothick at slip

=============================================

Flintoff Starts His Celebrations
All rounder Andrew Flintoff finally bagged a wicket. A poor first spell from Flintoff put Vaughan in a tumble. After a while Flintoff returned bang on form cleanly bowling out Islam with a slower yorker. Perfect bowling from Flintioff.

Hoggard Gets His 2nd
Matty Hoggard managed to pick up his hatrick with Rafique falling in similar circumstances to Hossain. Simple edge to Trescothick at slips. England are finally getting on top of a spirited Bangladesh side

=============================================

Hoggard Is On Fire
Iqbal was the victim this time to paceman Hoggard. This time it was a brutal in swinger on tol the pads, it looked quite a close call but England got the luck as the umpire saw it was LBW. 9 wickets gone, can Hoggard get a 5 wicket haul

==============================================

4th for Hoggard
Matthew Hoggard is the man of the moment cleanly bowling Mashud. Mashud made a steady 33 and was looking to at least to get to 50 but that didn't happen. Hoggard just got the ball to swing very late which Mashud didn't expect and the off stump got knocked back.

Simon Jones Wraps Up The Innings
Glamorgan ace Simon Jones wrapped up the tail and the Bangladesh innings trapping Mortaza lbw. Mortaza did well in the tail getting 21 runs and looking fairly solid running along nicely.

Day 2 tea interval
England struggled to hold tghe Bangladesh attack with a few people which include Marcus Trescothick and Michael Vaughan going fairly early in there batting spells. Iqbal and Mortaza were the pick of the bowlers in the match so far. Although it's been said as a poor start to the innings there still in a good position.

Scorecard:
Bangladesh: 285
S Hossain: 71 M Hoggard: 4-68
T Imran: 38 S Jones: 3-46

England: 182-3
Strauss: 92* Mortaza: 1-35
Pietersen: 52 N Iqbal 1-38

=================================================

England fall to the end of Day 2
400+ was the score England were targetting but it looks like they won't get that far after a sudden collapse to the middle order batting. Collingwood and G Jones put in solid batting displays even though they failed to get to 50. Flintoff was really disappointing failing to get in to double figures. Mortaza carried on his impressive performance.

==================================================

End of innings
The tail didn't help much at all. England only managed 5 more runs to the start of day 3. Hoggard and Harmison both went very cheaply and will be disappointed with there displays. On the other hand Giles was really impressive with the bat nailed a few fours and managing 20 runs which isn't bad for a bowler

Vaughan is pants in ICC 2005 mate. Believe me, he scored 9 runs of 38 balls in a national league match against Middlesex (my team!) Get in Jim Troughton instead. Also Rikki Clarke is a good all rounder.

Hate to say it! but Alex Tudor is real good in the game with both bat and ball. :eek:

Day 3 Morning Session
Bangladesh were really starting to frustrate the England attack. Harmison got the only breakthrough of the morning trapping Omar for 23. Since that there has been no joy for anyone apart from Bangladesh. Flintoff had a night mare with an econamy rate of dead on 5 after 5 overs.

Scorecard:
Bangladesh:
285 & 75-1
Saleh: 25* Harmison: 1-28
Omar: 23

England: 312

=====================================================

Tea Interval
Much better performance from the England seamers with Simon Jones bagging 3 wickets in that session. Spinner Ashley Giles has barely bowled in this second innings and Vaughan believes raw pace is the way to go and how right he is looking back at this session. Saleh made a decent 45 before losing his cool and ending up getting a run out thanks to Pietersen.

Scorecard:
Bangladesh:
285 & 166-5
Saleh: 45 Jones: 3-39
Ahmed: 28 Harmison: 1-30

England: 312

=====================================================

End Of Day 3
This was a vital session for both teams but it was Bangladesh who came out fighting. England only managed 1 wicket in this session which really frustrated Vaughan. Islam went on a right mission nailing fours across the ground and ends the day 48 not out. It will be interesting to see how he carries on tomorrow

Scorecard:
Bangladesh:
285 & 226-6
Islam: 48* Jones: 3-47
Saleh: 45 Harmison: 1-45

England: 312

====================================================

End Of Innings
Again Vaughan went to pace and it paid off with a huge affect. Islam made 58 before getting cleanly bowled by Harmison and that was the start of the rest of the wickets. Harmison finished the tail along with Jones both ending with 4 wickets each. Great bowling from the seamers and this leaves England needing 237 to win. England are now odds on favourites to do this with the best part of 2 days left

Scorecard:
Bangladesh:
285 & 263
Islam: 58 Harmison: 4-55
Saleh: 45 Jones: 4-65

England: 312
