Iam in 2006 as England as well and I have lost a 3 test series 0-3 and a Pakistan series 0-3 as well. So I am not the best person to say, but I do know that the default team is crap!

Strauss - Crap!
Cook - No good

The openers are so crap ~ And England seem to have no other openers lol Except Mal Loye, but Iam not going to use him in a Test match. So I have called up Michael Carberry from Hampshire who normally does awesome as an opener for me in my save game as Hampshire.

Stuart Broad and Tremlett are decent, Jimmy Anderson is doing terrible. Flintoff cant bat and Collingwood is a waste of time so far.

I may try Rikki Clarke or Ryan Sidebottom.

For a good bowler make sure you have Matty Hoggard, he is tops. I haven't been picking Harmy, but I may try him in a Test soon if Jimmy Anderson continues to play crap.

So yeah, Iam in a bad possie as well, I want to know what batsman are decent?

You need Trescothick in. And Cook is a reliable opening batsmen. I usually keep the gloves with Prior. As for bowling get rid of Giles and bring Munday in.

Keep an eye on the county game to see who is performing well.
