Its been tough for England, there was a typical Chris Gayle innings whcih was followed by a Silvester Joseph well played 69 untill be played across the line to Steve Harmison. The runrate is just over 5 and it seems chosing to bowl first on this typical West indian wicket was a bad decision. Brian Lara came out just before lunch and played cautiously to avoid losing another wicket. this first sesion as certainly been a West Indian one.

End of day i and the West Indies are in control going along as 5.5 an over it was definetly a bad decision to bolw first there is nothing in this typical West Indian wicket, Chanderpaul showed why he is such a could batsmen. C.Baugh is licky to be there after chopping the ball nearly onto the stumps but it just obunced over. C.Colleymore went last ball of the day thanks to a yorker from S.Harmison which got him clean on the fott Lbw.
