Looking from abroad, how is this man not in the England national side?

Like a lot of bowlers in England his speed in and around 80mph (130kph ish), which I'd say is a consideration about picking a player who can play in all conditions.

He's played for the 'A' Team so he's certainly there or thereabouts. But there's Anderson, Broad, Robinson, Woakes, Potts who all do similar. Then there's Craig Overton and Sam Curran who also bat.

It didn't suprise me, when they did take a punt on a county bowler this year, it was the guy who bowls quicker than most (Tongue).
