WWE PRESS RELEASE - NEW WRITERS

Today the WWE has announced that due to declining ratings and ridiculous storylines the head writers of RAW, ECW and SmackDown have all been released by the company. It is understood three inexperienced writers have been hired after going through vigorous interviews and giving examples of their work. They will each decide the General Manager and storylines of the shows. They will also be in charge of the television broadcasting deals and contracts of their brands wrestlers. A draft occurred and the three new writers chose the superstars that best fitted into their storyline plans. We also understand that all champions have been stripped with immediate effect. The first show will start this Friday and it will be SmackDown. Below is some information on the three writers.​

NEW HEAD WRITER 1: Luke (OrderDX)
HEAD WRITER OF: SmackDown!
PREVIOUS WORK: Took a small English organisation to being nationally recognised.​

NEW HEAD WRITER 2: Gazza (Gooner_2k7_UK)
HEAD WRITER OF: RAW
PREVIOUS WORK: Worked for small indy promotions in Japan and sess this as his big break.

NEW HEAD WRITER 3: Rameez (Karachi Xpress)
HEAD WRITER OF: ECW
PREVIOUS WORK: Used to be a low staff member for the old ECW. This time he wants to make ECW his creation.​

Let the battle of the brands begin! In the next few posts rosters and champions will be stated by each brands head writer.​

SmackDown! Preview

This week on SmackDown is the first show that the new head writer Luke Gardener will take control. He has announced that the loyal fans of SmackDown will find out who the new General Manager is and also a massive World Heavyweight Championship Tournament will be started. The competitors include Undertaker, Carlito, King Booker, Jeff Hardy, CM Punk, Randy Orton, Umaga and Kane. The four first round matches will take place this week, the two semi-finals next week and then the final for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.

Also this week one title will be up for grabs as a fatal four way match for the Cruiserweight Championship will take place. The competitors will be Daivari, Super Crazy, Gregory Helms and Chavo Guerrero. You can also expect a lot more matches and rivalries develop as SmackDown hits the road this week! Tune in this Friday.
