Not sure what difference it would make, but would getting a little petition of some kind, perhaps not so aggressive, maybe more of a polite letter, to Codies explaining and requesting the possible release of their source code?

I would think there would be a higher chance of success from a petition for a patch.

i think there wont be a chance at all, but if someone is gonna have a pettition for a patch ill be in

they wouldn't release the source code because then ea would easily get their hands on it

Highly unlikely a petition would work as Swordfish Studios have been bought by another company, but never say never!

when you say encripted, would it be possible to hex edit a cracked exe? I know that PC doesn't allow/promote piracy but has anyone tried?

AFAIK there isn't a cracked exe around cos no-one has managed to crack it.

the copy protection is a major problem and then even if you did get it decrytped then you would do well to find out exactly where the AI stuff is stored. We could do with talking to someone within codies/swordfish. Someone that can at least tell us how it is stored. I havn't got any better ideas than that!
