Fantastic Five - Fantasy Game

Hello, I am cricketaddict as many know me and many that dont know me. Me and my friend have been working on this project for quite some time and we think its right time to get public response. This is fantasy cricket project.

What you can do i.e Features!!

A user who registers with us will be given a basic game money. The user uses that money to buy 5 players from available players(13 countries). Like Fantasy cricket on different website including this, each user will earn money and points with every match. We have planned to have seasons instead of series, that is each team selected will be for some time and we will track all the matches and assign points with the end of each match.

Whats different?

Well, as we have seen some of the websites only play series wise, we will have it over a season that is a month or so(not decided yet). You will also be allowed to have sell/buy new players after each season. This is where the game money will be used.

What will happen next?

Well, once you selected your 5 players, with every match you will be given points. You have to top the ranking with your team and be the lucky one to qualify to win gifts we intend to distribute at the end of 3 seasons.


What we need?

Any help from logo design to helping in giving us features you want to see. Any help on scoring pattern would be appreciated and all suggestions and help you could provide are appreciated too.

Looks promising to me too. Its good I will be having another website to play. Just a quick question the money you mentioned will be real money or just the virtual money to play? Since I usually play fantasy cricket matches from Dream 11, where I usually win cash prizes and it is legal since it is a game of skill.

Hi, thanks for the kind words. Yes first what you get is basic virtual money. We are trying to implement system where from transfer you can buy real money to play the fantasy game. Now whether we implement the system or not there is definitely going to be real prize that you can win Any more doubts please post I will surely help you as I can

Oh btw we are planning to start this and go live by first week of February. That way we have action packed schedule with Australia South Africa, WT2014, IPL ENG vs IND etc.

Hello guys, we are done with few major work with the fantasy game. Only part remaining is leaderboards and few minor update things. Will keep you guys updated on things. I will also need few beta testers where we will just basically have a fantasy game on upcoming India vs New Zealand series. Anyone interested just post here and I will shoot up an email

Have implemented the following system. What else would you guys want to see?

Batting:
Each run scored: +1.
Each duck (excluding bowlers): -20

Bowling:
Each wicket taken: +20
Each 5 runs conceded: -2

Fielding:
Each catch taken: +15
Each stumping: +15

Bonus Points

Batting:

+40 per century completed
+20 per half century completed
+10 for 20% of Team runs.
+10 for a not out.
Bowling

+40 per 6+ wicket haul
+20 per 4+ wicket haul
+10 for conceding between 3.00 and 3.99 runs per over*
+15 for conceding between 0.00 and 2.99 runs per over*

Looks good, but a bit harsh on bowlers. Make it +30 points for each wicket.
Is that for ODI? The points need to be balanced as per different formats. Looks fine to me for ODI.

@Meet Yes Meet, currently this is for ODI and T20 ongoing implementation is for Tests too!! I will see how drastic changes we get by doing +30 for wicket Thanks for your suggestion give me a day or so and will surely get back to you on that
