Will the special abilities have any effect at all? i.e. a T20 specialist have a worse batting rating than a sheet anchor?

FC is using old Cricksim. Everyone will have standard averages based on their player type.

So really that means that putting sheet anchor as your skill isn't overly useful because it doesn't affect how you play in the FC matches...

I don't think skill matters at all now, or does it?

Because sheet anchor should be atleast +3 rating points in FC, while T20 specialist would be -3 rating points?

Else we should have all put specialties for the one day game, and ignored FC completely.

Special abilities won't come into effect until Sohum creates a FC engine in his simulator. That won't happen until the OD engine is working properly without any bugs.

I guess I'll be the person to suffer the most because I chose my bowling abilities, which a perfect test bowler has.

So, as of now, no FC engine, no special skills, which means all depends on luck, even though I've opted special skills which make me a good FC bowler.

I guess these cases should be taken into consideration seriously.
