Introduction.png

Hello, I hope everyone is doing good. I've always wanted to start a story but I couldn't find a decent idea to start with. After playing and spending many hours in Cricket Coach 2014 game (Yes, you heard it right!) I've decided to start my own Fictional Pakistan Super League which I'll be playing in Cricket Coach 2014.

A League.png

This will feature all 6 PSL Teams. I've randomized players in the teams. I will be playing with one of the team in the game and will post the journey in this thread. Also many decisions will be made throughout the journey through public poles. So your involvement is necessary to help me lift the Fictional PSL Trophy! So far I've set-up the league and squads in CC14 (Cricket Coach 2014). You can find all other details below.

Squads.png

I've randomized squad to all 6 teams that include 24 players. (If you think that's too much. It's because of International fixtures and injuries due to which, some of our players will not be available at times.) 14 Local and 10 Overseas.

It's either going to be Karachi Kings or Lahore Qalandars. Perhaps my vote will decide now. And it's Lahore Qalandars :D

On the overseas players. With majority favoring 5. I'm going with 5 overseas players.

Match 2
Karachi Kings v Lahore Qalandars

Toss: Lahore Qalandars won the toss and chose to bat
1st Innings
Lahore Qalandars started their innings strongly with both the openers Rohit Sharma and Tamim Iqbal getting fifties. The platform was set but Mitchell Starc had other plans as he took 3 crucial wickets in his second spell of bowling. Unfortunately, AB de Villiers was one of his wickets. Shoaib Malik and Darren Bravo didn't let their openers effort in vain as Lahore Qalandars scored a huge total of 213
2nd Innings
Chris Gayle and Hashim Amla provided an unbelieveable start to Karachi Kings. They touched the 100 runs in just 6 overs with Amla getting a quick fifty. Karachi continued to hit boundaries. They lost their 2nd wicket in 12th over on the score of 144. Kings lost their 3rd wicket when they reached 200. Dale Steyn and Sohail Tanvir bowled brilliantly in the death picking up 2 wickets each. But it was too late, as Karachi Kings chased down this huge total with 5 balls to spare...

"Rana Fawad To Lead Lahore Qalandars To Glory"

1.png

Journalist - It must not be a good feeling to lose your very first game after scoring 200+?
Rana Fawad - Yes it's not very pleasing to see my team losing after scoring 200+. But this is also not a negative thing. We (Our Batsmen) scored 200+ which is a positive to take and it's only the start. The whole tournament is left.

Journalist - How are feeling about yourself and your team? We've heard you've taken all the important roles and are not bothered to sign any staff?
Rana Fawad - *giggles* For the past years the whole world has seen how poorly Lahore Qalandars performed. It was about time that I need to step up and take controls, so I did. About the staff thing, well we have one advisor, and some therapist, doctors, and assistant manager. Apart from that, all other roles of coach, manager, analysts and few more are under my control.

Journalist - So you've already decided to book the return ticket?
Rana Fawad - You seem to be kneen on knowing that. Bet you didn't expect a score of 200+ from Qalandars?

Journalist - People are expecting some wins from Lahore Qalandars. Do you have anything to say on that?
Rana Fawad - The tournament has just started. 200+ already on board. Our key players weren't available today. But they will be back soon and so will be the trophy. Only haters count the points and I think you're going to need a return ticket after this. Interested to buy few for my players too who will be available for the next game?
Journalist - *Leaves*
