I have now fully completed the Field Patch. If anyone has any other suggestions then please let me know. This is the final version, I have ironed out a few flaws that appeared in the 1st version and the field placings are now much better.

* mid-Off boundary moved round to prevent boundaries
* "Hook" Field placement is now much more refined
* Better field set-up for Spin and Swing bowlers
* Improved Test & ODI fields

please remember to backup your original files just in case. Admins, feel free to add this to the site for people to download.

thanks

once again Good going :sonic:
It's very hard work to make fields and you got to think of yourself as what fields would you most likely NOT want the PC to set and that makes it brilliant.
I never did release my BLC field. If I did I don't think anyone would score more than 20 on easy :vampire: :nzw: :throw: :pizza:

thx sonic for this hard work... I will try it out this week and let you know my thoughts.
thx

guys, when I did these fields i tried to ensure that they were kept in tandem with their descriptions. So, an aggressive field will be exactly that, only this time with two men on the boundary (the default setting previously was none). an attacking field has 3 men out deep, then 4 on tight, 5 on standard, 6 on defensive and a whopping seven men on the boundary on retreat. Originally I was going to set all fields as defensive, but this would make the game very unrealistic and quite daunting to face 6 men on the boundary at the start of the innings. At least this way you get a chance to get your eye in and build an innings whilst at the same time be challenged in the field.

I hope you all like them, but comments will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your kind words so far, its quite hard judging which fields are best for each bowling type and in accordance to knowing the shot selections that players will be looking for. I've done my best to cover this, but please keep your feedback coming.

Thanks
sonic :ice:
