The PlanetCricket League Management would like to pay one last tribute to Kumar Vishal ahead of the final game of TPCL3.0's One-Day Cup - The Kumar Vishal Trophy.
It has nearly been 6 months since tragedy struck, and we lost Kumar Vishal under the circumstances we did. The PlanetCricket League was put in a very difficult position, where we had to commence our season immediately after an incredibly unfortunate and tragic event - but instead of marring the experience for everyone, and making our last memory of Kumar Vishal that of sorrow, we, as management decided to honour our fallen brother and renamed The One-Day Cup into The Kumar Vishal Trophy.
We opened the season with a Kumar Vishal Memorial Game, and throughout the entire season - management, players, team owners and other participants have publicly given Kumar Vishal multiple tributes, and sent condolences and well wishes to his family members and friends - especially his teammates @ The Royal Mavericks. From retiring his player avatar, to retiring his jersey number, to him scoring an unbeaten 96* in a winning knock in his only List-A innings this season (which he played as captain), we've done all we could to remember him in the best way. And yet, all of that is simply insufficient in the grander scheme of things. He was taken from this world, far too soon.
After six months of spectacular cricketing action, we've reached the culmination of PlanetCricket's premier List-A tournament - as part of management, we can only hope and presume that we did justice to Kumar Vishal and his legacy with our sincerest and most-loving tribute. We, as management, would like to take one last opportunity to remember our brother, and make sure we've done enough to remember him in loving memory - right before the final game, which begins tomorrow.

Irrespective of the result of the game, I just hope it turns out to be competitive and this Finals proves to be worth a tribute to Kumar Vishal. May his soul keep resting in peace.

Glad that I got to contribute in the third final at least. Would've liked to get past 350, and it certainly looked that way after @PresidentEvil and @ahmedleo414 's fantastic opening stand, which laid the platform for me and @Pinch hitter . Unfortunately the Bad Boys' bowlers bounced back a bit, before me and PH could settle at the crease.
