Not looking too likely according to codies. (BTW this is all I'm going to post on the matter so I don't get dragged into flame wars or anything like that) and I personally can't see why a patch is needed myself...but there you go.

I haven't got the game yet so I can't comment on it. They wont say that there wont be a patch but I highly doubt there will be.
