Guys, anyone know of any free cricket software along the lines of Cricket Statz which allows you to input scorecards/bowling figures and also calculates averages etc?
Cheers :)

I don't know exactly what you get in the starter package off play cricket, but I am pretty sure you get a small free stats package. They are websites used for cricket clubs so if this is what you require it for, play cricket is ideal. You have to buy the main stats package if I remember correctly (Was a long time ago we set it up). Anyway, worth a look even if it ends up being useless:

Cheers Jamesy, I'll check it out pal

Only problem with that Jamesy, is that the site you linked to only supports Internet Explorer and Netscape (and not Opera), even provides a link to download Netscape!! (broken link), so obviously thats not been updated a lot.

EDIT: Just had a look at the site on Firefox, looks pretty decent.

As for other options, I find sourceforge is a great place to find decent free programs (open source): http://sourceforge.net/search/?type_of_search=soft&words=cricket+stats
The only major downside is (1) most won't be complete and some will be quite buggy and (2) some are pretty hard to install.

But you should find a couple of decent programs there...

Couldn't you do your own spreadsheet? Might save a bit of dosh and it isn't that hard.
