Looks like another loss coming.

I won by 408 runs in the end lol. Pretty good match rating too of 118k

End of over 13 (12 runs) - New York Yankees(152-1) RR 11.69
L. Carr 83 (45b) , K. Caterer 4 (1b) , D. Margasahayam 2-0-27-0

Didnt played my full strength team today. 6 key players missing. 500 was on the cards if they had played..

Playing a team slightly stronger than ours. They batted first and got off to a reasonable start before 2 wickets in 2 overs from Phillips and James had them at 48/2. It took another 10 or so overs before Tindall struck in his first over but conceded 15 runs in that same over unfortunately. Tindall took another wicket though in his 4th over to have figures of 2/26 off 4 overs. Kwistel followed up Tindall's wicket maiden with a wicket maiden for himself as they were 138/5 after 29 overs, the match still in the balance. They then fought back to 190/5 after 40 overs before Tindall struck again in his 6th over to have 3/32 from 6 as they were 6 wickets down. Tindall then managed to take another 2 wickets to take 5/49 off 10 overs, as they scored 247/8, so it was pretty decent on an uneven pitch.

The 2 openers, Elgin and Mol scored 13 runs each before Byrne got out for 11 and Ali just recently got out to make things worse as we are 71/4, O'Leary 16*, Fiebig just coming to the crease.

Tindall's Great Bowling Performance.

21.3 W Tindall to Jordan : [catch] Looping flight from Tindall, but Jordan reads it early, dances down the track to get to the pitch. His attempt to slam it straight back over the bowler's head only results in a simple catch for long on.
R. Jordan c M. Elgin b. F. Tindall 33 (44b 1x4 1x6) SR:75.00

27.2 W Tindall to Whitridge : An excellent delivery spins sharply. Whitridge playing from the crease pushes at the ball which goes through and strikes the stumps.
L. Whitridge b. F. Tindall 39 (60b 2x4 0x6) SR:65.00

41.6 W Tindall to Omer : [catch] Omer tried to tuck the ball behind square, but got a leading edge straight back to Tindall.
F. Omer c & b. F. Tindall 22 (45b 1x4 0x6) SR:48.89

47.6 W Tindall to Khumalo : He shuffled across his stumps looking to work to leg and was struck in front by Tindall.
M. Khumalo lbw b. F. Tindall 56 (57b 2x4 1x6) SR:98.25

49.2 W Tindall to Hughson : Hughson is gone, turns just a little bit after pitching on middle and leg and he's rooted in the crease. Height wasn't a problem and the umpire sends him on his way.
Z. Hughson lbw b. F. Tindall 4 (5b 0x4 0x6) SR:80.00

That is 5 wickets for Tindall!

500 is still possible.. Lets hope Carr stays there till the end

End of over 22 (1 run) - New York Yankees(224-2) RR 10.18
L. Carr 119 (75b) , A. Weir 29 (25b) , D. Palanisamy 6-0-54-0

Should be in for an entertaining finish.

134/5 after 30 overs. 114 runs off the last 20 overs to record a fantastic win. O'Leary is 58* while Oldroyd is still only 10*.

A good player for a beginning team. He was my best batsman for quite a while.

Weir Gone for 99:facepalm

36.6 W Gutta to Weir : Bowled Him!! A nice little outswinger from Gutta brushes the pad and clips Weir's off stump.
A. Weir b. A. Gutta 99 (74b 7x4 1x6) SR:133.78

Will O'Leary hurry the fearsome tweak up. He's now 76* off 94 deliveries. 77 runs off the last 10 overs to win. 7 wickets down as well.

Tindall's 5 wickets and O'Leary's Century not Enough to Record an Upset Victory

A match that Hedger's Team needed to win and they came very close to doing so, having North Bengal Tiger finishing their innings at 247/8, Tindall taking 5/49 from 10 overs, his second career One Day five wicket haul to bring up his 100 wickets for both his career and for the club. O'Leary then smashed a century, finishing 103 off 113 balls before he got out in the most crucial time at the end of the innings as Hedger's Team fell 39 runs short, Tindall taking man of the match for his 5 wickets.

End of over 50 (14 runs) - New York Yankees(499-8) RR 9.98
S. Powers 37 (18b) , A. Mishra 21 (10b) , B. Shriharsha 10-0-105-0

Great performance by Baird. His debut game for the Yankees and he ran through the opposition. He will be playing against Iridium tomorrow.:yes

End of over 14 (maiden) - flingers(47-9). 453 runs required from 36 overs. RR 3.36 RRR 12.58
B. Neelakantachar 4 (11b) , B. Shriharsha 0 (0b) , E. Baird 7-1-17-6
13.6 . Baird to Neelakantachar : That one turned back sharply. Neelakantachar defends it to the off-side.
A hattrick for Baird!
13.5 W Baird to Margasahayam : Looping flight from Baird, but Margasahayam reads it early, dances down the track to get to the pitch. His attempt to slam it straight back over the bowler's head only results in a simple catch for long on.
D. Margasahayam c S. Powers b. E. Baird 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
That is 5 wickets for Baird!
13.4 W Baird to Gutta : Quicker delivery that pitches and turns sharply. Gutta pushes forward to defend but fails to make contact and the ball hits the pad right in front of the stumps. He was beaten by the extra pace and the sharp turn there.
A. Gutta lbw b. E. Baird 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
13.3 W Baird to Pravil : Pravil tries to slog that ball over the boundary rope straight down the ground but instead finds the hands of Redondo at long on.
A. Pravil c A. Redondo b. E. Baird 2 (6b 0x4 0x6) SR:33.33

flingers are allout for 47. Mishra took 3 wickets. Massive 452 run win. That pushed Yankees to the 2nd position in the OD league.

Well now I have 3 bowlers with over 100 career wickets for the club. And wow, Stephen Byrne is leading the career run scoring charts by a mile. He has 3675 runs, while Elgin, the next best has 2199.

How do you see those stats?

lol the 4 centuries I've scored in SOD matches have all been against the same team, two the first time I played them, and then two more the next time.
