Don't you think it's unnecessary work to update bids on a sheet as well? If it's convenient for you then that's alright.

But for us with bids happening at any random time. We can just check it on the inbox and we do receive a notification when someone posts a bid. So there's that.

No it's not... I set the sheet in such way, the higher bid and back out (X) etc are highlighted automatically and also remaining budget will be calculated by itself... If everyone take responsibility, we can easily run auction in that Sheet itself... Just edit in your column to raise a bid or back out...
